Bruce Smith Puts Jerry Sullivan In His Place in 1997
Niagara Bill replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
He writes for the NF Gazette for goodness sake. It's not the Times. Ever community has and needs a writer to hate 9 out of 10 times. It's a roll but we all know he is not a schill. -
Bruce Smith Puts Jerry Sullivan In His Place in 1997
Niagara Bill replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seriously, Sully was and is a writer who leans to the outrageous side, but he is talented and not a schill. He wrote during an era where the Bills ad dollars controlled radio and print. Today Bulldog is weak, Schoop is an idiot who wants to talk cards, Sal Joe etc lean very heavy to the positive every day. Jerry survived when Dickerson couldn't, who went way too far and personal. Every town and team needs a Jerry. -
We won, but the run game was not acceptable. Those inside handoffs, with back running east west are awful. Running out of the gun is hard and trickery is necessary but just once I would like a vaccine to get the ball when they are running full speed. If you are running from the gun then option football us the only way. IMHO this us a combo of not a great back and van play design for running.

Me to, my signed contract us stuck in the mail so the rules say I am out. Just gate those rules

Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills
Niagara Bill replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sean should be fired for dressing a punter he did not use rather than another o lineman.😉 -

12/19/21 Gameday Bills vs Panthers First Half Thread
Niagara Bill replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still need to be able to run in positions like this -
Ok, this is a foreign policy issue. Joe B has been begging Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc to increase oil production, prices are too high, demand is too high etc etc. No Canada you cannot have a pipeline to supply the US with enough crude to stop mid east supply needs, to reduce thousands of rail cars of crude traveling openly around the country. What is this about.

What is better, no guns, or more guns?
Niagara Bill replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I do not own a gun as I said in the last line. I do not hunt, I have not felt threatened, carrying hand guns is not legal or at all common, I do not target shoot, my parents never owned a gun even have returned from war, no one in my family owned a gun and I do not know anyone who ownes a gun except a long gun fir hunting deer or moose. But as American gun culture as well as violent gang drug culture grows in Canada, particularly in border regions, for protection of property and life that may be required one day. More and more we see house invasions etc. Guns are smuggled across daily for gangs both at crossings and thru Native reservations that span the border. So the future brings???. -
What is better, no guns, or more guns?
Niagara Bill replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The thread asks the question, more or less? As someone who lives outside thus culture my informed position and logic is this. 1. Guns have been part of the American culture, since muskets were part of Thanksgiving dinner with the pilgrims and native Americans. 1b. Hunting has always been cultural, and huge in recreation. 2. The new wave culture of gangs and drugs has adopted the same gun culture. Police forces are now equipped like military. 3. There is money in guns, in manufacturing, sales and clubs. 4. In a huge portion of the country where the old culture and new culture come in contact guns are usually part of the scene, whether at home, school, work or pleasure (sporting events, Vegas, Applebees, etc) 5. An attempt to remove these weapons from the public would create a revolution and civil war allowing for anarchy to rule. There can be no logic that is acceptable to the vast majority. 6. More is the ONLY possibility. The 12 yr old young gal learning the proper use of the weapon in a controlled environment is the answer so when she enters mainstream use, accidents are reduced. Just like a drivers license. And this from someone who would not own a gun, at this point. -
Unionize Buffalo Starbucks? 😂
Niagara Bill replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
One of the staffers likely has a friend or relative who worked on this campaign. They all stem from good old Jimmy Griffin, when the dems ran Buffalo, with brothers and sisters and corrupt unions. Took years to clear up some departments. If you need job protection at a coffee shop you need more help than a union can give you, and the hiring manager should ge fired fir employing you. Just saying. -
Tommy Doyle reactivated, Bye bye Bobby Hart
Niagara Bill replied to damj's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow, what happened to the kindness and generosity of Bills fans. OJ stays on the ring of honor and Bobby works hard trying to get better and he becomes a joke. What age are you guys 14? Bobby, you da man. Work hard and show these guys real class. -
Did Sean go too far calling out Mckenzie?
Niagara Bill replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Easy answer to your question. If he was asked 2 months ago what the process contains, he would never have said to publicly ridicule a player, or never to have publicly critique a coach or coordinator. His faith in the system he created, he broke it, he lost faith, his anger blinded him, he left the system. Your scale is a little out of wack, IMHO. 😁 -
Did Sean go too far calling out Mckenzie?
Niagara Bill replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only thing McD shows with his actions is frustration. He has found he has coached to his ability but that is not good enough. He has missed something and does not know what to do. He has become blinded, maybe with anger with himself. The eyes have glossed over. His inability to lead under difficult times, under the pressure of expectations is a definite weakness. His tolerance is much higher than many, like Rex who fell after 2 games, but he is not in the class of Marv, BB, Shula, Parcels. Sometimes coaches with 10-7 records and win the big games are far better than coaches who are 13-4 with blow out wins and lose in the end. He has lost face and trust in the process. -
Release of RG3 book getting no coverage in American media
Niagara Bill replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
RG3 was nothing as a player except hype. He was a joke that the football media played on all. If he had talent as a player there would be no book. As a broadcaster....hmmmm, just another joke.... Comparison to Moss us unfair. Moss had talent, used it, developed a good relationship with fans, much like Irvin. -

I was born a poor indigenous child
Niagara Bill replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Like many people who are extremists in their politics they can convince themselves that the truth is optional and the end justifies the means. For me this started in the 60s when the Panthers joined the anti war efforts, but I never believed they had any interest other than to promote their agenda. This person is only 1 of a number of so-called academics who lied their way to prominence to promote their views. -
Cam Newton back to the Panthers? (Update - signed)
Niagara Bill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cam was created by the media. The superman nonsense made many of his team mates and a lot of the NFL dislike him. To me, second to Brian Cox, is the most disliked player I have ever watched. Of course, that and $1 will get you a cheap cup of coffee.
