Putin will gain something for sure, the questions are, 1, can a deal be struck to stop Putin from invasion again next year, 2, does Moscow get their money back from sanctions, literally billions. 3, does EU continue boycott of Russian gas and oil, 4, does US remain in NATO, or start doing business with Putin.

Wrong, Ukraine would attack Moscow at will, and have not because the world would see nuclear weapons. They took land from Rusdia, they destroyed their major military airport. They are fighting with one hand tied behind their backs, being control by Nato with its strategy.

So the expansion of commies was important in a hellhole of Vietnam but in Europe it is ok? How about Cuba? When Putin moves in next door, or China into Taiwan. And the endless fight in Afghanistan was about? A quick end to Ukraine, Russia is certainly best for all, but the lesson must be to Putin, not to the extremely brave people of Ukraine who escaped communist Russia thanks to Reagan and have stood for freedom. They are the example for the rest. They sacrificed, they did not get others to die for their country, they died, and killed and will be stained for generations. I do not suggest the US should be financing this war alone or should send forces. But teaching Zelensky a lesson is not the goal. Putin started this war. Getting peace is certainly the "Art of the Possible" here but there can be no idea Putin wins.

What dems must realize that calling for harm and violence will only give trump and friends more reason to declare some type of Marshall law. Whether the threats are real, typical mistruths in a controlled media or AI generated, the excuse for greater WH and administration control grows. It also may give the administration a group to blame and persecute. If you are anti trump direction, keep your protests to speeches in congress or legal challenges. If not, you may never get to the 26 election cycle where you can gain political control of congress.
