Parker has always been about the money. He has shown that is his only concern...see M. Crabtree as an example. I am not saying that is bad for his client, but as a Bills fan who wants the best for the team our goals make the team approach and his approach on money only significantly different. There is no middle when you are not on the same page. I spent 30 years bargaining labor contracts. I have met "Parkers". Why do you never tell the car salesman that you love the car. Because he is about "money" and you about " the car and money" and he wins.

Here is what I think about bargaining people like Parker. He does not respect the game , for him it is about money and no other item appears on his list I believe the only way for the Bills or any other team to deal with Parker is to be the same. What Parker does is wait until the team shows it's priority to football and then he gets what he wants. Either a contract or a trade. In either case he gets the money. As a great negotiator Herb Cohen says...it is not about the money it is about the MONEY. If the Bills make a respectful offer they must then be prepared to allow Byrd to sit out. It must be about the money for the Bills as well. It appears to me the even if Byrd comes to camp, he will not play well, he will be disruptive. He must understand it is his career, not Parker's money game. No game, no money.

Exactly, no one has done more for this team and community than Jim. If there is some serious issue he has my support and respect. If there is NO issue he has my admiration and respect.

why did they not change the term "at bats" to "ats bat". I have always hated the fact that baseball people allowed such a change since in todays culture the use of a word or phrase is allowed to change and new words developed and added to the dictionary each year. Culture had created the term RBI's not bad English language. I needed to vent on this, thanks. Can anyone think of any other terms the English police have changed?

( and Canada is no different than the US in this regard) that the President and Commander and Chief needs to go to the press and call for the closure of Gitmo. Do our leaders have so little power. Can he not just order the military to do it. Are all decisions so political that all must be done through the court of public opinion. Surely is 5 years they could have found the legal way of proceeding. I am not suggesting it should be closed, but seems to me if the C&C wants it done..it should be a simple process. Now this is the biggest load of crapola I have heard this week. So, since we plan to throw a lot in a hurry up offence then running backs are not important. We plan on running the ball more and getting more first downs so a punter is not as important. All they are trying to do is cover up that fact they pizzed on Levitre and he left. With our draft history there is only a slim chance of picking the right guy and developing him in any event. Whether we draft a QB this year, trade a first round pick for one (RJ), or draft next year I will not be sad or happy. We did not even develop Jim Kelly, he prepared in the USFL. Many of the same people who fight for this right support anti abortion and I cannot understand how. If mass murder during abortion is their position how can they not support control on these types of weapons. I am not anti gun, I support hunting, gun clubs, target shooting etc.. In most states you cannot drive a car without a seatbelt, or place your child in a car without proper restraint...but you can walk into a store and buy a weapon of this type of power.. no logic in any of this.

I have been referred to as many things but never liberal...believing that your neighbour who just came from his psych treatment can walk around in his yard with an AK47 (loaded or not) that he bought or received as a gift from another guy he met in treatment does not equate to conservative values especially when my kids are playing in the school yard across the street. So go ahead and hide behind the creeping changes argument that the gun lobby teaches conservatives, it is easier to adopt than to think for yourself.

I don'tI do not understand. Why does the country spend money on the MIT police, Boston Police, Watertown Police, State police, FBI and National Guard. Save the money and let the citizens with their AK 47 do the job. They would have found him and maybe a few others at the same time. For all those who want the 2nd admen. to be so strong this is the only solution. Either put controls on the guns or have the authorities step back and go for it. All those people cheering for the police must have been wrong.

yes really the second amend issue is a non starter. I did not see the police, national guard with the Humvees, the armored vehicles, 2000 officers from agencies from college police force to the FBI openly saying on TV for residents to get out their guns to help stop the crazed 19 yr old. People should have been able to defend their property against a foreign terrorist if the 2nd admen, issue held water. After all chanting USA later was as close as they got to using the 2nd admend. The senate turned down the latest attempt to improve the situation not because they thought it was not going to help enough but because they are owned by the gun lobby....plain and simple. ps I agree the proposal was gutless and ineffective...that in itself should be an embarrassment for the administration.

Frankly I started a new thread and the site operators transferred it to this thread. I think I understand the politics and issue more than you think. My point was simple. The Gun lobby is so powerful for the gun producers ( not the NRA) they buy the votes from representatives who would fix the background checks and the AK47 type issues. I think they are smart enough just married to the money. Why not let people buy bazookas??? That would be crazy just like AK 47s. Married to the money is the real political issue. I am not being flippant nor do I want to seem insensitive, but I cannot help think that 2 terrorists, killing 4 people ( at this point) will create more investigation and new laws in congress than the killing of 26 - 5 and 6 year olds (and teachers)...just one of a string of terrible tragedies.... Easy to blame a foreigner, not so easy to blame ourselves. I may be a Canadian but we have the same political issues with the border and guns registry. Cannot wait to here Boehner, etc hitting the stump on this one. They will listen to all the recommendations from police and federal agencies and react...they ignore them when the Gun lobby speaks....Just a thought at this terrible time, sorry if I insulted anyone over the timing of this opinion. My prayers are with those in Boston and the families who have lost loved ones.

Wannestedt for sure was on e of the real issues last year, but the biggest guy who fxxxed us was Mario and his $100M. He was so unmotivated how could anyone else be at the top of their game. Kyle Williams didn't look the same...not because of DW but I believe stupor Mario.

We didn't sign Levitre so why sign this clown..so many people on this board said you should not over pay so lets see what everyone says about this situation. We have people on this board suggesting we draft an O lineman in round 1 (after having a good one here that we lost) , now maybe it should be a safety also...or in round 2. We need to ask the question, why do our homegrown draft picks that work out want to leave. Why do we pay guys like Mario too much, but we cannot pay our own guys or piss them off so much they want to leave. By not signing these guys it just keeps us from moving ahead.

this is one of the craziest posts ever read.What the he?? do you mean by saying a team like the Bills. The hole point is the front office is so bad that we pay all the wrong players and get ourselves in cash and cap problems with no success. A TEAM LIKE THE BILLS should be able to pay their home developed players because the rest of the bunch is not good enough and should not be paid. Instead we overpay for others peoples junk (Mario) and lose our best home players.
