Look he like Stevie is another buffalo 'feel good story', but even with him and Stevie this team can't put together a winning season. Both guys need to be upgraded position wise and thanked for their time here. Just the harsh reality of the NFL, feel good stories and top character guys or winning, you pick. Really Kelly83....I never suggested it was a feel good story I only suggested that his age was extended because of his late start and few carries early in his career. you are so intent on stating your thought not replying to actual posts

Who believes in Manuel?
Niagara Bill replied to Chi-town Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While EJ may one day be able to be a starting QB, he obviously is missing the "it" factor. He does not have the ability to manage a game, think through the Defense, and attack it. I believe that is something you can learn but never be totally successful because it is not natural and under fire he will lose that ability. For at reason I will go against he crowd and predict the Bills will draft a QB in round 1 -
and you find it necessary to tell the world about fantasy...do you even know what reality is...have you actually ever been to a live game. I suppose you take your family to the mall on your Need for Speed game...so exciting

Jim Kelly treated for cancer recurrence
Niagara Bill replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know of no one else that is more able to stand up to this disease than Jim. As a member of the 12th man I wish I could do more than pray for Jim and Jill and the family. I wish I could stand up and swing my jacket around as Jim did when he was watching the Bills play Miami and snow came steaming across the stadium from the lake. It was a sure sign the Bills would win that day and all 73,000 knew it. I wish I could play tackle and block for him as Wolford and Ballard did. I wish I could break off my pass route and come back to the ball like Reed and Lofton to help the QB Jim. But I cannot so PRAY it shall be for Jim, Jill, the whole family, and for all the true Bills fans, ( like Debbie, and Nikki, and Bob, and Phil, and Dom and Mark and Courtney and Wally and Grace) who today have a big piece of their heart in pain. -
It is sick how part time fans can whine about the teams planning for FA signings. While this guy is not Byrd's replacement, if they do not have a secondary plan, Now that would be worth complaining about

Happy Birthday to Jim Kelly and Hunter Kelly
Niagara Bill replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
both made great contributions to the community and will be remembered for a long time. -
I have a tendency to agree that Cheerleaders are not necessary, except that the game is so slow due to TV commercials that you need to have something to look at for the 30 minutes per game of nothing. Besides what good would that awful music they play in each stadium. They save money on that by only paying one set of royalties. If the are going to change anything stop that stupid gong noise on 3rd down

Schwartz D will be "Attacking" D
Niagara Bill replied to Original Byrd Man's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ridiculous that some one in this tread developed this into racial issue. To clarify "thugs" I meant players who spend more time with their own agenda, trying to hurt players opposite to them, take penalties for being over aggressive and hurt the team, put their out of control emotions ahead of their teammates and end up being losers when playing as a unit would have put them in position to WIN, the real objective Did the Lions not underperform in part for this reason -
Schwartz D will be "Attacking" D
Niagara Bill replied to Original Byrd Man's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My biggest concern is the lack of control of his players and emotions. His teams always have too many penalties and are either too high or too low. Thugs are the way of life, not smart. Even Schwartz demonstrated he was often out of control. He hurt his team by not thinking at times. While I hate unemotional coaches like Jauron a good coach needs to keep his wits about himself. -
Geno refused to get off his cell phone , held up the plane and the crew asked him to leave so they could take off. Geno didn't have his wrist band instructions on how to turn off the phone. The coaches caused the problem. Then he played the race card (true). That is the only excuse he cannot use in the NFL

Tom Donahoe- was he really that bad???!
Niagara Bill replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Donahoe was terrible. His drafts were average at best, anyone on this board could be average over 5 years with a staff of 10 people recommending picks. His biggest 2 issues were picking bad coaches, and hating the fans. We were called idiots by him on the radio. We were refused entry into the stadium for what we were wearing. He stopped entry into the parking lots until 8 am and tried to make it 9am. He came as the silver fox and left as the silver jerk -
he now has a coach that can motivate him and help him focus his life. Turk Schoenert??? Dick Jauron couldn't motivate himself. If he had stayed here he would have been Travis Henry II.

Person killed at Chiefs game.
Niagara Bill replied to BLZFAN4LIFE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the thief dying is a better outcome than the car owner dying, That is the point being made. Neither deserved to die. -
Who wants to apologize to Nate Hackett??
Niagara Bill replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You make some good points. There is a common point here to think about that runs through your ideas. I have always thought there is no place like the field for the co-ordinator. You get the feel for the players demeanor, the will of the players, the true sense that a guy like Goodwin can run past the corner 2 plays in a row due to conditioning, Football is a game of physical wills, the box is sterile. Being close to the sweat can be beneficial. -
Jonathan Martin AWOL, Incognito suspended
Niagara Bill replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There may the likely hood that he is gay and Incognito being the total jerk he is may have been harassing him for weeks with others also jumping on board. We do not have enough info to suggested any illness, mental or other wise. If he is gay this may be the event that allows the NFL to change it's culture. I say more people like Martin and less idiots like Incognito would best for everyone -
Make the Ralph LOUDER than Arrowhead!
Niagara Bill replied to tedstrong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
cannot be done in the Ralph any longer. When the major seating changes were made and many more plastic seats were added the noise level dropped as the old aluminium seats were used to make noise and reflected the noise. Most of the new modern stadiums are more closed-in thus keeping the noise in the stadium. But it is worth a try for sure....football is one sport where the fans can have a real effect on the game outcome -
Aaron Maybin - LB, Toronto Argonauts

proof positive that the Bills did not have a scouting department before Doug Whaley -
It appears that the Bills will provide 50,000 white pom poms for the game as we will dress in our whites unis. This leads to just a few questions....why do we wear our away unis and allow KC to wear their home red? What happens to the other 20,000 fans who do not get a pom pom, are we too cheap to supply this $.10 product to all fans. Will we be embarrassed by 20,000 chiefs' fans all dressed in red sitting among the crowd that will be dressed in white at the Bills request. They travel well (especially when winning) and the game is sold out. Just sayin'!
