  1. I think the time has come to bench KB. He is 100% checked out.
  2. This game is sloppy all the way around. Allen is forcing it. The special teams are wretched. And yet, we're right there. Let's see how they finish.
  3. I agree with the Fitz comparisons with regard to his heart and fire. If Allen ends up being Fitz with a cannon, I think most of us would take it.
  4. Watching him zip around pre-snap reminded me a lot of how the Chiefs use Hill to create misdirection.
  5. I think Corey Carter would have had every opportunity to win the job had he not been injured in the pre-season. I'm excited (as as excited as you can be about a punter I guess) to see how he fares next season.
  6. If you have the Athletic subscription, this is a great read. I read it earlier this morning. Allen made some truly remarkable throws and Daboll called a great game.
  7. He had a few good short punts downed near the goal line, but all in all he was hitting awful punts last Sunday.
  8. I don't know which one she is, but bring her in.
  9. If I had to pick the last coach I'd want to fight I think it would be Lynn. That dude is intense.
  10. I agree, I'm sure he spent very little time, if any, working on it. He looks the opposite of robotic when running in game.
  11. I am a former college sprinter and an Allen fan, but his form in that 40 is absolutely brutal. He is so much more fluid in game. If he worked on it I'm sure you could max him out in the low 4.5's.
  12. And my point is that no matter who you wanted, they'd still have been a rookie. It's weird how many on here expected a finished product. I wanted Rosen and I'm glad I wasn't in charge. Of course the position is mental, it is probably the most mentally demanding position in all of sports. And of course he has a long way to go in that and many other aspects of learning the position, but he is not a one read QB like you claimed. I have actually been impressed with his improvement mentally and from the pocket. He has a long way to go yes, but the fact that he is improving (and doing so against damn good defenses) is encouraging to me.
  13. Except one is an 8 year vet and one is a rookie. I agree he is still raw in many aspects but give me a lump of clay with heart any day. Which QB did you want this past draft?
  14. This is simply false. Second quarter, 5:23. Allen looks right at McKenzie in the flat and processes that he has a defender right in front of him. Allen picks up 9. To your point, 10 years from now I'd rather have him dump that off and he likely will. Watch the all 22 if you can. Allen actually processes pretty well for a rookie. I would not call him a 1 read QB, especially not in the Jags or Houston game.
  15. Go back and watch it. He did look before he took off and he picked up more yards than the receiver would have. The TD to Foster was his second read on the play.
  16. I brought this up a few months back but no one remembered. That was an epic meltdown.
  17. Which was a beautiful throw. Thompson has to tuck that one away and bring it down.
  18. You see Rosen today?
  19. The "Marrone" special. Punt from the 40.
  20. Shaq is the MVP for getting LF out of the game.
