I'm not sure if this is the specific strategy they've taken with him or not, but he sure as heck doesn't throw to the check down, almost ever. It is certainly a contributing factor to his completion % and it's damn fun to watch.

Define faster. I believe TT would take him in a head to head 40, but much of that has to do with acceleration vs top end. Josh is a long strider with really good turnover for a man of his size. Top end speed I think Allen would take TT. There is also a huge difference between running in a football game and running in a race. Speed come down to 2 things. How long is your stride and how fast can you move your legs? As as far as the better QB, gimme Allen all day!

And that is really what it's about. Some people are so worried about proving their pre-draft assessments correct that they miss out on the real fun. For all the back and forth in this thread I'll state one fact. No one knows what the kid is going to be as a finished product, but I do know, as of now, I'm excited to watch.

I'm a McD fan, but I completely agree here. The end of the 1st half was amateur hour. There are several reasons why we lost this game, but the management of the final drive of the 1st half was certainly one of the contributors.
