I agree about Allen, but man, the narrative of the pats* being unbeatable and us having to play a perfect game to beat them, blah blah blah, has got to rub of on the team. I don't care what they say about it being another game on the schedule. Until you see it with your own eyes that they are just another 11 men who can be beaten, that is a lot to overcome mentally. At the end of the day you have a 23 year old kid, with a bit of a hero ball mentality, playing against his QB idol. Add in that historically games against the pats* are over before half time; he just tried to do too much. The next time the Bills face the pats* I expect us to see a totally different Allen. This is exactly the kind of game he needed to hopefully understand that we can compete with them and he doesn't have to try to beat them with every throw.

I was in the same boat. I actually expected to win. I know this place is always meltdown-central after a loss but I'm not even upset today. We gave the pats* hell and have closed the gap on them big time and they know it. In the past we'd lose this game 38-6. If it took a game like this for Allen to realize he doesn't have to hit a home run on every throw to beat them, it was worth it. I think my BBFS may be healed.

Have You Started To Lose Faith in Josh Allen?
Juice_32 replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When we drafted Allen he was considered a raw but super talented player who needed time to mature and grow as a player. No one considered him a finished product. He’s on the exact trajectory I expected and hoped for. He has a long way to go but I’m enjoying he hell out of the ride. -

No matter what the final score says today. We’ve closed the gap on these bastards. Let’s GO!!!! -
Gameday Thread Bills vs. Pats* 1st Half Thread 9/29
Juice_32 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All in all, down 10 with the way we’ve played, I’ll take it. We need a long TD drive to open the 3rd. Part of beating these ass holes is believing you can. -
Bill Belichick does not use Analytics
Juice_32 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly, Ernie Adams is a huge reason for the pats* success and he’s doing nothing but analytics. -
The same thing happened to me yesterday and man it feels good. Take away the fact that they are the pats* and the path to victory becomes more clear. - brady has struggled, for his standards, against McD's defense for 2 years - their OL is beat to hell and will be playing scrubs - no gronk no devlin (both huge assets to the pats* run game last year, which is really what hurt us) - although not a finished product, our offense is much better than last year - rowdy home crowd will be crazy loud - heavy lies the crown, no one expects anything out of the Bills all the pressure is on the pats*, our guys can play loose. The only reason I can come up with that this game will not be close is because they are the pats* and they always kick our butts.

I am really loving Knox. I know there were a ton of folks on here who wanted Hock in the first. I'd imagine most of you are pleased with how it worked out at this point? Or is that Sweeney? Either way, kudos to Beane.

I think we want him in there, no?

The Bills have the worst backup QB in the league? Really?
Juice_32 replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Give me Barkley over their #2 on the list, Manning. -
I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at the pats* depth chart and saw Newhouse was starting. Advantage Hughes in that match up.

Josh Allen - Draft night retrospect

I wanted Rosen, I’m dumb. -
Defensively, I’d play the pats* exactly like they played Falk and the jests on Sunday. Stack the box, take away the run game and short middle of the field. Make tom* beat you with long and intermediate throws outside the numbers. He was surprisingly inaccurate in the jests game when he had to drive the ball. I do not care what anyone says, my eyes tell me that his arm is not what it was. On offense, I think you turn Josh loose. PASS PASS PASS. Take some deep shots to open up the intermediate throws Allen seems to thrive on. Keep the misdirection and sweeps going. Put the ball in his hands and tell him to take the crown from the evil ones. Let him play hero ball, hell with it. No conservative game plan. Go beat their asses Josh.

Hopefully Peko can make the most of his opportunity and play like a man possessed on Sunday.

Holy ***** this is one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever seen or heard in my entire life. That guy is the freaking man! ???

I was screaming at the top of my lungs and seeing stars on that last Bengals drive. I have no voice today. My wife thinks it’s dumb because we were watching it on tv in North Carolina, she doesn’t get it. Seriously though, well done to all who were there. I’ll see you all in a couple weeks!

Dammit, who's up after him? Peko? -
There is zero chance I’d give a 1st for him.
