  1. Self inflicted misfortunes. I feel sorry for his kids but I'll make fun of him all day. Congrats on being better than me though!
  2. The Beck play mentioned above was simply perfect. I also love the sack on Vick at 2:45. He pounced on him like he wanted to eat him. Re-watch this video and imagine these plays with pressure on the edges too. This could be a special line. You cant double all of them.
  3. I was about to get one, but my gut told me to hold off. Let me tell you, I'm so glad I waited. Sign me up for a Vince Young baby!
  4. I ran at Campbell University in NC. Tiny school, but D1 for track. TJ's father was actually my coach's coach. My 100 PR is 10.79, ok for a white kid. The cool thing is Rashean Mathis was in the race and I beat him. My only athletic claim to fame. Anyway... Hopefully he can prove to be more than a "track guy". From what I've seen he has pretty good hands, but definitely needs to work on the route running. We shall see.
  5. I also ran track (the 100) in college a few years back and faced all the ACC schools every week. I still try to catch as many big meets in person as I can. His PR is 10.37 I saw him run in the 4x100 at the Raleigh Relays. He makes really fast people look like they are walking. With his pedigree he could become one of the fastest people on the planet in 3 or 4 years if he stuck with track. His 40 time is a bit confusing. I would have guessed it would be faster. Either way, he's one of those guys that you think you have an angle on...and then you don't.
  6. Have to agree.. Is this the best big athletes? I've seen TJ Graham run the 100 in person and after seeing that I have to put him on the list. The guy is unreal fast.
  7. I am so excited to watch this kid play. He hits and tackles with some nasty. Dude is fast and mean.
  8. Greenville, NC reppin the Bills in Pirate Country
  9. I see where you're coming from, but the problem with Smith remains his ability (or lack thereof) to throw the ball. There was a game early last season if I re-call where he missed a wide open TD. The play was designed well, he just couldn't execute it. I just think that the wildcat without the threat of a pass has been largely figured out by the league, regardless of who you have coaching it. I hope I'm wrong though, I'd love to see some bang for our buck out of B. Smith. As far as the OP goes, I couldn't agree more. If healthy, we are a whole new team. I can't wait for week 1.
  10. eh...whether it be tebow or sanchez, their offense is going to BLOW. 24-6 bills. jets offense looks lost all day and at least 2 of their starting offensive players are injured. ron brooks gets a strip sack which marcel returns for a td. and there was much rejoicing.
  11. we are definitely going to be a totally different team if we stay healthy, but what makes you think brad smith will have more of an impact this year than last? i am as big of a buddy and chan fan as anyone out there, but i think the brad smith signing was a terrible move.
  12. I like most of Tim's stuff and I think he did a great job on the AFC East Blog. I also think its funny that some people here treat him like the baby Jesus.
  13. a dominating d line makes the secondary and linebackers much better. we just havent seen it in a while. there will be some bumps in the road with the lb's, but the talent has been improved. im as realistic as anyone, but i do think this d will be top tier. ^ this, watch how good our "mediocre" lb's become with a real d line.
  14. i feel like im in north korea.
  15. People are too sensitive man. Life is too short for people to take themselves so seriously. You didn't offend me and if you did I would have gotten over it.
  16. This is exactly right. As the overall talent of the team is improved, the overall talent level of the players we cut will be higher. It's been so long since we've had a surplus of talent. There are going to be some players we hate to see go. I too think moats will be cut and wish him luck. He seems like a nice kid.
  17. Blatant homerism is NOT pointless. It makes us feel better about ourselves dammit.
  18. im really glad we have buddy...
  19. I sat here for a while trying to think of some way to contribute to this thread. I feel a little like James Carville in the debate scene in old school. There is nothing else that can be said. He's a kicker named Long Ding...it's just perfect..
  20. I am seriously excited about this kid. Bottom line is he makes plays. Every time he's been given a chance, he makes plays. He's the anti-Leodis.
  21. martin...david has a better chance of being there in the 3rd. that would be a DREAM top 3.
  22. honestly, thats awesome
  23. I live in nc and fly up on most Sunday's. It's pretty easy to sell them online if you can't make the game. Stub hub, ticket exchange, etc...
