  1. I'd be shocked If they cut Urbik and keep Legursky. Other than that these 3 lists by Joe B. are spot on.
  2. 1. no injuries! please, for the love of God, no injuries. 2. sammy vs gilmore
  3. This is how you know you had a bad draft...
  4. I don't think anyone is worse than Doug Legursky (other than Colin Brown). He should have his very own color called "Legursky".
  5. Not sure if posted yet, but here is a pretty good clip on the matter of Evans vs Cockrell...
  6. this ^^^ and this is precisely why metrics alone are not enough to evaluate players with. there are some real oddities on this list even if some of the info is accurate/intriguing.
  7. Agree with this. If Williams is there, you grab him. Didn't they have him in for a visit as well?
  8. Well.......Lets pencil M Williams in I guess!
  9. This ^^^^^ It gives us flexibility with M Williams. I dont think its safe to pencil him in as a certainty yet.
  10. Fortunately, his drop % on diamond rings is significantly lower than it is on footballs.
  11. I totally agree with this analysis. I am really hoping that the trade up talk is a smokescreen. The purpose of each draft should be to select 3 starters, if you get lucky maybe 4. Trading down and adding a second rounder is my hope. We shall find out in a few hours.
  12. Trade back for another 2nd and select... 1 Zach Martin 2a Troy Niklas 2b Scott Chrichton (if he lasts) or Kareem Martin 3 Bashaud Breeland 4 Best RB on Board 5 Best LB on Board 7 BPA/Upside guy
  13. This 1000 times over. If we can trade back and pick up an extra second like last year I'd be happy. Some combination of OT, TE, DE, CB with the first 4 picks in this scenario would work for me. Maybe... 1 Zach Martin 2a Troy Niklas 2b Scott Chrichton (if he lasts) or Kareem Martin 3 Bashaud Breeland
  14. At least none of them were at the hands of a rubber mat like our veteran QB.
  15. One season is enough of a sample for you huh? How many games did he miss at FSU? Aaron Rodgers played 9 games last year too. Is he frail, brittle, and injury prone?
  16. +1 I don't understand what people's expectations for him last year were?
  17. Wow, the playoff drought has affected you guys in the head. He's played half a season. EJ can and will succeed because they aren't going to ask him to do too much. We are being built to run and stop the run and in a pass happy league it's a smart move by the FO. Look at Seattle, R. Wilson is a glorified game manager.
  18. I have to agree with you. I'm buying in on Whaley.
  19. It isn't an insult. I like the kid. My point was that you cant watch youtube (as you implied I should do) to get a fair evaluation on a player. I think Ebron will be a solid pro, but the value is not there at the 9 pick. It just isn't. NFL GM's know this and its why TE's are rarely taken in the top 10.
  20. Passing stats have no correlation to the quality (or lack there of) of an offensive line? What's the point if EJ is looking over his shoulder after 2 seconds? I live in Raleigh, have season tickets to UNC football and saw every game this year. I've seen all the youtube videos you have probably watched, go check out James Hardy's, those are sweet too. He may be a good NFL player, but he should not be the pick at 9, period.
  21. I could not agree more. We have been awful against the run for over a decade. We need run stoppers and O-line. The fact that people actually want an average looking TE in Ebron at the 9 spot blows my mind.
