    I love it. And I bet that McD and Pegs are on board. Mediocrity is our problem. Cardale will boom or bust and yes, it's likely bust. Maybe he surprises everyone and kills it. Perfect. If he fails we will finally have a QB, it'll just be a year later. All Tyrod does is keep us in the spin cycle. Go Whaley!

    In no way does tanking guarantee a franchise QB. But, if they try, I will not be upset. The mediocrity is just as soul sucking at this point. No matter what they do, I'll be watching.

    I agree, but I for one am not anti "tank" overall. We've got to break the vicious spiral of mediocrity and get a real QB.

    I'd argue that he can't fire Whaley as GM because he's never actually let him be a GM. Put up or shut up Doug, you got a year.

    I hadn't thought this in depth about it, but something about the way everything went down yesterday gave me a new respect for Whaley. I was all for blowing everything up (including a Russ purge) but I'm more comfortable with everything today than I was while watching the Jets game. To me, DW is a man unchained. Here's to hoping he produces.

    I finally watched it. I have a new respect for Whaley. I don't know much but I do know this. If I was Doug Whaley...I'd be damn motivated to prove everyone in that media room wrong. Let's see how he reacts with his back to the wall. Some type of clarification is required after they hire the new coach as to what the organizational structure is moving forward.

    After the soul crushing defeat to Miami, I can genuinely think of nothing I'd rather watch than a good old fashioned EJ vs Fitz battle!

    This is probably the only reason why he is still left. Russ pushed St. Doug, Russ and the Pegula's were in on Rex. I think that in the Pegula's eyes he doesn't have to wear either of them around his neck. No more excuses after the next choice though. Win or bye bye.
