Or maybe it is what real front offices do.

I doubt you could do what he does. I do not think your comments are appropiate. Try adding something useful to the board.

nyone notice Losman, Reed and Aiken all got cut. Lot of surpise cuts at QB -
Marshawn Lynch - could he get cut?
buffalopdc replied to SouthernMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is preseason, he is coming off an injury, he has be practicing for only 3 days before the game, and line was getting swallowed up. I do not think cutting him likely or a wise move. He will turn on the "beast mode" again and carries 6 tackles to the end-zone and will get a similar thread after week one talking about cutting Fred. Go Bills! Time to squish some fish. -
Much as expected his suspension has been shortened to 4 games. At first I was thinking why bother, but upon further evaluation I think that is about right. Looking at the personal conduct policy in general terms (forget the alleged crime) I think a 4 game suspension is warranted for any justified (non-frivolous) felony offense investigation. I think the league should create more concrete guidelines such as: Investigation for a serious misdemeanor - 2 games Investigation for a felony - 4 games Misdemeanor conviction - 4 to 6 games Felony conviction - 1 year (minimum) with it being 2x any jail sentence. 4 unsportsmanlike conduct in a season - 1 game These guys are paid to do more than just play the game of football. They are ambassadors of the sport and role models to kids. They need to be held to a higher standard. Other thoughts?

Would you rather go 7-9 or 1-14?
buffalopdc replied to beggar13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Winning is better than losing. Also, I early first round pick does not guarantee a superstar QB(or an player for that matter). There has been more misses that hits on first round QB in the last several years. Many of what most of us consider Franchise QB's did not come in the early first round (with the excpection of Payton..there is always an exception). 1st round QBS: 2010 Bradford (jury is still out) Tebow (Hurt in first game as predicted) 2009 Stafford (jury still out) He has not yet turn Detriot into a conender. Sanchez (jury still out) Although the New Jersey Jets are Super Bowl Bound Freeman (who???) 2008 Ryan (Decent, not quite a franchise QB) Flacco(Decent, not quite a franchise QB) 2007 Russell (#1 pick to Raiders and out of football) Quinn (back-up QB material 2006 Young (not a franchise QB) Culter (an interception machine) -
I would disagree based on my observations of the game. You could tell on several plays that both he and Fitz were able to get through their reads. Most of the time is was right to left. Additionally, the increased use of play action held the defense on several plays just long enough for him to quickley hit his first read for decent gains several times. Also, in the screen game (yes we finally have a screen!) he actually looked off his intended target before completing the pass for the screen. When he was throwing over the middle it appeared he was looking straight ahead. Any over the middle passes to a slot receiver are difficult to read the QB's eyes as so much is going on. The one thing that I did notice that when he had to roll out he did seem to look for and lock on to one target. My hope is he was looking for the reciever or TE tyo come back to the ball. But those were what I would consider high risk passes.

So, When Do We Get a New Stadium? *****
buffalopdc replied to Dr. Zaius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I doubt another stadium will ever be built no matter how much some think it is needed. Case in point is Bass Pro. Bass Pro would have been ideal in Buffalo 5+ years ago when there wre not many of them. Now not so much. Time and time again the politics of the area delay projects to the point where it is not worth it or the time to get it done has past. I have a feeling that a stadium would create the same mess as Bass Pro, the Peace Bridge update, or the Univsity of Buffalo and our subway to no where. -
Our Current Uniforms Really Suck *****
buffalopdc replied to Dr. Zaius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree 100%. The 90's uniforms were great and is what I would prefer if we were going back to something from the past. If I remember correctly we went away from the white helmets with th red buffalo becuase player complained it was difficult to see in the snow. I propose a new uniform all together instead of anything old. In my opinion this is the beginning of a new era of Bill's football, lets start with some new digs to go with the teams new Nix/Gailey identity. -
Antonio Bryant cut by Bengals...
buffalopdc replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
PASS + 1. the reason he was cut is becuase he was never healthy enough to play. I doubt he would pass a team physical -
He did do something about it. It told the fans that the Bills are a team and you insult one you insult them all. That is a hell of a coach if you ask me.

If going to the game, hope to see some of you there. Feel free to come tailgate with us in the Orange Lot. Bills Flag will be flying high on a dodge ram pickup. Hope to get there around 3:00 as I think that is when the lot opens. It is preseason tailgating so it is our run through for me and my friends larger tailgate at the Ralph in October. -
Tickets I think will be pretty easy to come by. They are pretty cheap right now on ticket exchange and stub hub

Well if you need a parking permit, let me know. It is diffuclt to park near the stadium without one due to the set up of Fed Ex Field.

I am in Sec 314, Row 8, Right in front of the hooters.

Me, my father-in-law, and a buddy are coming up from Richmond. We have an extra orange parking pass if any BILLS fans are interested in parking next to us in the lot and tailgating, just looking to recover the costs of the parking pass. Go Bills!

Chris Brown's day 1 practice notes
buffalopdc replied to Skoobydum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Plagiarism only matters on school papers or reports. After that it is pretty much common practice. There is no legal recourse for plagiarism (copyright infringement is another story). Furthermore, when you give the guy credit it is not plagiarism at any level. If you look at a graduate or post graduate paper they are littered with footnotes referencing the author as to almost every paragraph. It is actually what professors expect to see as most peoples ideas are not original. -
Simple offense instead of Complex or Dumbed-down offense?
buffalopdc replied to folz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent!!! -
Timing is Everything and this is PERFECT timing for the league to talk about the possiblity of a longer season. It is one more thing they can use in the arsenal to get a new CBA reached. The league will continue to pile on changes just to take them off the table as negotiations progress. IF players will want a larger portion of revenues then owners will argue that the season needs extended.

Manning is Polian's 2nd Jim Kelly. He is a game manager. There was a post a couple of weeks ago about what QB most reminds you of Jim Kelly. It is Manning. He commands an offense much like Kelly did. Polian was key to the Bills success. The Colts and the Bills of the 90's are virtually the same team. Until they gey a front office guy like that again we will have more of the same.

If I remember correctly, it was also raining and she was dressed in black, not walking on a crosswalk, while her friend was dancing in the rain.
