Channel 2 had a nice story on Donald Jones and his dad Don on tonight's 6 PM news. Donald had a kidney transplant and Don Sr. was the donor. I was fortunate to meet Don tailgating a few years ago and became friends, my buddy and I even bought Jones 19 jerseys. Don always invited us over to his tailgate party, had a truck shrink wrapped with pictures of Donald and called their group Buffalo Soldiers. Don actually sneaked us into the players suite for a game, great guy. He obviously loves his son and you could see the pride he had for him. I wish them both well. Here is a link to the story. http://www.wgrz.com/...splant/9342459/

Just saw a story on the channel 2 news, a group of Bills fans calling themselves 12th Man Thunder is looking to Boycott Bon Jovi in Buffalo. They are asking bars, bands and DJ's to not play Bon Jovi or serve him in their establishments. Bars will receive Bon Jovi Free Zone posters to hang in their establishments. Bon Jovi music sucks anyways, long over due. To learn more or sign their petition, click the link, no Peter Pan, sorry to disappoint. http://www.12thmanth...jovi_supporters

The most ridiculous tattoo I have ever seen

Banished to Off the Wall, it was fun while it lasted. I guess a tattoo of Ralph Wilson isn't football related. -

Selling of Bills Could Happen Even Sooner

East of Route 5 & Tift Street, the proposed convention center would be West of Route 5. Anyone who thought Niagara Falls would be a nightmare for traffic, will really hate this idea. -

Had the unfortunate opportunity to sit in the Club Seats for the Miami game last year as the Bills upgraded me. They put us in row 5, the rain drip from the upper deck landed right on our laps. Late in the game we stood up and cheered when Miami went for it on 3rd and 4th and long. We were yelled at by the snobs behind us and one guy actually sicked security on us claiming we had been standing all game, LIAR. Will never sit there again, sticking with my 131 aisle seats!

Howard Milstein interested in the Bills
ET1062 replied to SF Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
145 acres should be more than enough, keep in mind most Canadians will likely park in NF Ont and walk across the Rainbow Bridge, so fewer parking spaces will be needed. I've been to Patriot Place a few times, ideally the NF NY stadium would be similar with an NFL Experience tourist attraction for the summer months. -

Howard Milstein just threw his hat into the ring, a NYC Billionaire with ties to Cuomo, didn't someone in this thread bring that up before? http://www.wgrz.com/story/news/local/2014/05/01/howard-milstein-buffalo-bills-sale-billionaire-real-estate-developer/8564737/ -
Coming to Buffalo, looking for advice

The new sports bar at Harbor Center across from the First Niagara Center should be open by then, from the sounds of it, it is going to be pretty impressive. http://buffalorising.com/2014/01/new-harborcenter-restaurant-716-food-and-sport/ -

I go every year and Legend Larry's is over-rated in my opinion, go to Duff's and you will learn what a true traditional Buffalo style wing is supposed to taste like. One thing you are going to learn, you aren't going to find 101 crazy ass sauces here, Medium, Hot or Char BBQ. -
As a season ticket holder can I ask that if I take my kids I am charged "Kids Day" prices for their seats? Yes, you can ask for more, one of my biggest pet peeves as a season ticket holder.

Coming to Buffalo, looking for advice
ET1062 replied to packfntk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Duffs Orchard Park is a large sports bar and wing joint with hot chicks waiting tables and bartending. Chippewa Street, Allen St. and Elmwood Ave are your best bets for bars and nightlife unless there is a Sabres home game, then down by the arena might be a good option. Also, if you guys like to gamble, there is a casino in downtown Buffalo by the hockey arena and one in Niagara Falls, NY, two in Niagara Falls Canada. The Canadian Ballet has already be covered, but if you dont have passports, there are three decent strip clubs by the Buffalo airport if strippers are your thing. -

Not all Duffs are created equal, go to the Orchard Park location only 5 minutes from the stadium. Avoid the Anchor Bar at all costs, they invented the wing, but went commercial and they pretty much suck. If you do the Niagara Falls Ontario thing as recommended by a few you will all need a passport. Park anywhere you want, there isn't a bad tailgate location at the Ralph, Hammers Lot fills up very fast and isn't the most convenient lot depending on what direction you are coming from. Hampton Inn downtown Buffalo is on Chippewa and a good location to stay and bar hop. -
...and now they release their schedule on the BIlls website 30 minutes early. They are the laughingstock of the NFL media.

All of this in the last 48 hours. Bills come to terms on an excessive texting lawsuit The Jills sue the Bills for not paying minimum wage Bills post a story on their website about Marrone having cancer and took most of the day to clarify. This organization is a joke, the Bills continue to show up in the national media for nothing positive. Heads need to roll, I am afraid Brandon has his own best interests in mind and not what is best for the Buffalo community.

The first home game of the season is typically 80 degrees and sunny and you want our home team wearing black? BAD IDEA!

Jimbo ready to bid on the Bills

Kelly is considering several different ownership groups. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/jim-kelly-considering-several-offers-to-join-bills-ownership-groups-20140419 -
Level 1. Proximity to Toronto, you would be able to see the TO skyline from the cheap seats Level 2. Plenty of available and cheap land near the Rainbow Bridge Level 3. The Rainbow Bridge, Canadians can park and walk to games without having to drive their cars through customs. Level 4. Niagara Falls is an international tourist destination, a NFL tourist attraction to go along with a new stadium would draw tourists from all over the world, and who would be their team? Da Bills. Level 5. Football season isn't tourist season, the Bills could partner will all the major NF CA hotels to offer game and hotel packages for fans. Finally and a little off point, I have heard a lot of bitching about the GI bridges, I am pretty confident that NYS would suspend taking tolls 4 hours prior and 3 hours after home games.

Some observations about potential new ownership
ET1062 replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"Fast-tracking" was all you took away from my post? The overall big idea is that both politicians have very close ties to NYC Billionaires who might have interest in owning an NFL football team and keeping them in NYS.
