  1. I’ll never wish ill to someone trying to turn their life around. Best of luck to him.
  2. NFL network really likes him. Top kicker on their board! They were critical of New England taking the other kicker first. Perhaps the tides really are changing...
  3. You gotta like that progress though! At this rate, he’ll be 7 feet even by the start of camp!
  4. To save yourself trouble, time, and distraction, you can look up the ESPN radio stations on your route and plug them into your radio presets. Then you just push the next button when one fades out.
  5. I still think Miami gives them a game
  6. Not sure what Miami’s GM was doing signing Fitzpatrick when they wanted to bottom out, but he’s done exactly what you’d expect: keep them in games and pull a few out. It’s been a lucky break for us regardless, no top pick for them this year. And I’m enjoying rooting for him. Win/win.
  7. Going to be honest, I really like watching games with Winston at QB. It’s not sound football, but man, is it ever entertaining—not that I’d want him QBing my team though.
  8. Come on, man! Let yourself have a little bit of fun here
  9. Everyone really needs to calm down. We’re playing against the best team in the NFL. This sort of thing happens
  10. True, it’s unlikely, but if Houston wins this week, then we have a chance at this scenario. It’s much more unlikely that we beat the ravens than the Chiefs beat the Pats. If Houston can put things together tonight, things get interesting. Heck! This isn’t the same NE team from the past, they have had all of the breaks go their way and squeaked our a few close ones of late. Cincy or Miami could even shock them. Never know.
  11. From the perspective of an outsider (don’t see a ton of their games), it just seems like MO under their coach is to be inconsistent from week to week..
  12. This is a great point. Drives have been huge against a great defense.
  13. Cowboys over Pats (for division and so that Dallas isn’t hungry/desperate on Thanksgiving). They are one of those up/down teams, like the Eagles. How they play one week depends quite a bit on their play the previous week and the context of the game.
  14. Absolutely rooting for the Browns. It's true that they have an easier schedule down the stretch, but in addition to the upcoming games against the Steelers and Ravens, it's completely plausible that they randomly stumble against Arizona or Miami. The Browns do not play consistently enough to win out (or likely to even get to nine wins). Let the Steelers catch them on one of their up days.
  15. I agree with this. I think they beat Dallas on Thanksgiving. Dallas is vulnerable on days they don't show up, and that game has all the right elements (home against an opponent that you're expected to handle).
  16. Browns will be desperate and coming off a bye next week while Pats will be on short rest. Then again, I thought Jets would make this close, if not outright win....
  17. I don’t know about you all, but I’m starting to think this Gase fellah isn’t a very good coach...
  18. I think the Jets win straight up, and this is the start of a slide for the Pats. They are overconfident after an easy schedule and beating us after Josh Allen went out (I know, I know, he was terrible, but he always shows up in the 4th). After this week, Pats lose against Cleveland (who will be desperate and coming off a bye) and go 2-4 as a whole over the next six games. The question is will the Bills be able to take advantage of it. <-- One can dream, right?
  19. Congrats to the Pats on the win. I’m just not watching the SB again. No big deal. Simply not interested and plenty of other stuff to do.
  20. Said the same thing to a friend yesterday. We lost the battle but won the war
  21. If I’ve learned anything with this team, it’s that they are completely unpredictable. Who knows...
  22. But they’ll never see it coming! It’s the ultimate zig when they thing you’re going to zag move!
  23. Won’t happen, but I think it would be a smart move. He did look good his last season playing, and the potential is there. Makes as much sense as the other possible bridges to a rookie, and the upside is higher too.
  24. Another way to phrase this would be, "would you trade places with the Browns right now if you could..." My answer is no.
