I really hope I'm wrong here, but they simply pressured the QB and jumped our dump offs last time. I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen again this game. Some pressure early to rattle Edwards, and then a focus on his short passes to the flat. Their offense will rely on the run to wear down our defense and put it away in the 4th. It will not be a blowout, but I'd give the points.

I used to hate Bryan Cox until I waited on him a few years back in Naples, Florida. He was incredibly nice and well-mannered and even signed a joke autograph for my aunt. You see, my family moved to Florida when I was a young kid and it really upset me. To cheer me up, my Aunt went to Bills practices and would send me autographs and newspaper clippings about the Bills(I was about five years old when we moved and she continued to regularly send me stuff until I hit the teenage phase). Anyway, I was talking to him about it and how strange waiting on him was after rooting against him for so many years, and he gave me an autograph to give my aunt. It read: "To Aunt _____, Sorry about the finger -Bryan Cox." When I think about the man now, that is all I remember. P.S. sorry for hijacking the thread. I just thought I'd share that since his name is coming up so much.

He should be drinking orange juice instead. It's a great source of calcium, and if he drinks enough of the juice, maybe it could become a nickname or something...

When we last played them in Miami, they jumped Trent's dump offs early and often. I'm afraid they have our man figured out and will be able to successfully use the same strategy by simply roughing Trent up a bit early on because it tends to get him skittish.

(Just posted this in shout box, but maybe better here). I'm looking forward to seeing how Trent responds. I really hope they put him back in. Last year he tended to fall apart after making a mistake and when go into a shell. If he does the same here, it will say a lot about his mental progress. I thought he looked okay before that pick. It will never happen, but I agree with you completely. The incredibly high salaries are also one of the reasons the average fan can no longer afford to go to many games. The way prices to attend sporting events have sky rocketed since the 80s is sickening. I know, I know, it's a business, free markets, supply and demand and such, but it's still a sad state of affairs.

Couldn't the NFL and NFLPA solve this issue by making contracts guaranteed while also creating harsh penalties for holding out. Both sides would come out ahead from such a bargain and it would end all of this BS

Seriously, can everyone just calm the hell down? It's unbelievable the extent to which this guy is being criticized. I'm not defending his past actions, but this has become ridiculous. We're just missing the thread critiquing the number of bathroom breaks he takes or his choice to waste time with three shakes when two will do just fine. The season can't start soon enough.
