  1. "Nobody blamed Trents bad poor performance on anything but his bad play.." Please, you can't read any better than you write. Go back and REREAD threads from the games prior to KC. Everything was blamed from Trents concussion, to the O-line to the running game.
  2. If Detroit keeps Culpeper & gets a good RB, They could run the type of offense the Vikings ran with Culpepper & Moss with Calvin Johnson in the Moss role. Culpeper is healed from his injury & still has a gun for an arm. JP would also be effective in this type of offense.
  3. Three years in a stable organization should be plenty. JP did not have that, Trent has, if he doesn't show something next year I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY EXCUSES FROM YOU OR THE OTHER TRENT LOVERS.
  4. These Trent lovers are a JOKE. They are blaming Trents POOR play this year on everything from his concussion, to the poor O-line play to the poor running game yet when they post about JP they say he had 4 years & just doesn't get it without taking any other factors into account. This Sunday Trent will be playing at HOME against a WEAK team. I don't want to hear any excuses if he doesn't play well.
  5. I think a major problem was Millen drafted only SKILL players in the first couple rounds, mainly WR's, ignoring the lines. A couple years ago the Bucs wanted to draft Calvin Johnson & Millen tried to get the Bucs to give up the farm to move up to get him. Because the Bucs refused the Lions drafted him even though they had MANY OTHER NEEDS than WR. The Bucs drafted Gains Adams who has played well for them.
  6. Won't happen. The Lions were up 17 early, on a Buc team they know very well, then in a matter of minutes they were down 21-17. It only got WORSE from there for the Lions.
  7. Cassel has a running game because of the system, not the backs in the system. EVERYTHING starts at the top.
  8. If he were married to my sister I would not care what she did if he ever hit her it would be GO TIME.
  9. I for one think so. Brian Billick, Marty Schottenheimer, Jim Hasslet, I would take any of these three & there are others & the team would be IMPROVED.
  10. I agree, but there were a NUMBER of people that bought those tickets & went to that game that weren't Bills fans.
  11. I agree about watching baseball & hockey but a number of them also watch football - even if only in sports bars. I have talked to a number of them. I'm just saying the Bills will not have a normal homefield advantage because of the crowd, the same as it was in preseason.
  12. You now live in Ottawa, pretty far from Toronto. I have a number of relatives that live in Toronto & have visited them since I was a kid for a week or two at a time. I also had a summer place in Ont. for a while. I would agree about 50% of the City is Bills fans, that means there will be no homefield advantage if the other 50% at the stadium are not. I have said before many Canadians VACATION in Florida & MANY of them have adopted Miami as their team. I think there will be a number of Canadians at the game from places other than Toronto, maybe even a few from Ottawa.
  13. There will be MANY Miami fans at the game. The Bills will have NO home field advantage.
  14. They are both very good backs, but Lynch is younger & CHEAPER right now.
  15. Really. They should be doing this with the Super Bowl.
  16. Your BONER for Trent is what is embarrassing. What makes you and the others that LOVE Trent think he is a good QB. He has been EVERY bit as erratic as JP. My point is IF Trent is as good as YOU THINK he is at the end of his contract, he will be like the girl you still can't get over that LEAVES because she is not HAPPY, leaving you to cry in your beer with the fruit floating around in it.
  17. I agree play comes FIRST & foremost. My original point was questioning if Trent would remain in Buffalo if he reaches the potential many see in him.
  18. Good retort. As I said I could be wrong & Trent may yet embrace Buffalo esp if he meets a nice Buffalo girl, but up to this point in time he has not. There is PLENTY of time throughout the year to give back to the community (time not money) it doesn't have to be during season.
  19. Great post those are my thoughts exactly.
  20. SD & their GM would have looked much smarter had they traded LT & kept Turner.
  21. I am not outcasting him. I'm just saying WHEN his contract is up, I think he will want to move on. I could be wrong & he may embrace Buffalo yet, esp with the way you all represent - GREAT game on Mon by the fans, Tony K seemed to be impressed with Buffalo.
  22. If I were there I would politely cheer him (No standing O).
  23. By the time he was well into his 2nd year there were NUMEROUS instances where JP SHOWED he embraced WNY. Thus far Trent has not shown he has. That is a FACT. If Trent starts throwing TD's instead of int's & wins games against good teams (taking us to the playoffs) I will LOVE the guy.
  24. Without hearing it, he probably meant he preferred playing at the Ralph in front of Bills fans to playing in TO in front of a neutral crowd.
  25. Trent has been given credit for being SMART. Of course he is not going to say someting STUPID like he doesn't like WNY he is smart enough to know he would be BOOED out of RWS. The fact is Trent has not embraced the area. He did not say in that interview "I like WNY." If you find anywhere that he said he did like WNY provide a link & I will apologize
