  1. Without taking into account different players were in & out of the Bills lineup over the course of the season, THEY PLAYED AGAINST DIFFERENT TEAMS!!
  2. Looking through these threads, it seems the biggest DICK SUPPORTERS are also the biggest Trent supporters. Their motive for keeping Dick must be they are afraid a GOOD HC will bring in a GOOD QB to replace Trent.
  3. I don't know about Yogies but you should know about Beef's as they are all the same. Great place if you have rugrats your bringing with you, not so much if you don't want screaming kids while trying to watch the game.
  4. The difference between the Bills & winning teams is the Bills have to pray their QB is the real deal where WINNING teams bring in REAL COMPETITION to compete for the starting position.
  5. JP sucks, good thing we have Trent Edwards who is capable of throwing 10 TD'S in 12 GAMES, that's ALMOST 1 TD per game.
  6. The Bills MAY pick up some better players in the offseason but so will the FINS, PATS*, & JETS. Dick gets OUTCOACHED by the coaches of all three of those teams.
  7. None of the QB's you are comparing Trent with were INJURY PRONE which Trent IS. Even if he were to develop & play great HE CAN"T stay on the field. Over the years there have been a number of players that COULD have been GREAT if they weren't ALWAYS injured. If you want to compare Trent, you need to compare him to the likes of Bobby Douglas not HOF players like Bradshaw & the others who were RARELY injured.
  8. In one of your posts you defend Trent by saying it takes " YEARS for a unit to click and YEARS for players to learn the depths of their playbooks" JP has NEVER had more than 1 year with ANY playbook or unit. so YES he does STILL have POTENTIAL, & if you believe what you said to be true about the time it takes then you are a HYPOCRITE.
  9. Really? I can only think of ONE as injury prone as Trent - Rob Johnson.
  10. You don't have to tell me anything about Gruden. I listen to him every Monday morning on WDAE. I'm ONLY talking about JP because I was RESPONDING to another post ABOUT HIM. Believe me I'm over JP in Buffalo, but am SADDENED & DISTRESSED about the direction this team is headed. If Dick stays another year we will be looking at a BORING team going 7-9 again. Just my OPINION, but I would like the Bills to FIRE Jauron, & bring in a Vet QB to COMPETE with Trent next OFFSEASON. If Trent beats him out GREAT, but HOPEFULY he will be good enough to win some games WHEN Trent is INJURED next year.
  11. ANYONE that can't see Trent is INJURY PRONE is BLIND or lying to themselves. Trent has played well at times in GOOD weather against BAD teams. He still has not proven anything except the fact he CAN'T STAY HEALTHY.
  12. Not really a wash, the losing teams had FEW stars to lose, the WINNING teams MANY. The players drafted EVENTUALLY became stars, a MUCH longer process than it SHOULD be today. Look at Miami & Atlanta as examples of TODAYS NFL.
  13. The players are PAID to PRACTICE. Most of the GOOD ones will tell you they would PLAY for FREE.
  14. A young INJURY PRONE QB that can't stay on the field, & for WHATEVER reason did not develop but in fact REGRESSED GREATLY, who has NEVER shown ability to play halfway decent in poor weather. That is what those of us aside from the Trent DIEHARDS see. Most of us don't think another 3 years of 7-9 is better than the CHANCE of improvement that COULD happen with a house cleaning.
  15. I have always maintained & still do that JP has POTENTIAL. All the EXCUSES given for Trent can be multiplied by 5 & applied to JP. When he goes to another team & has a chance to develop under GOOD coaching, we will find out if it was ONLY potential.
  16. Players on MOST winning teams will tell you they HATE practice. They live to play the GAME on Sunday.
  17. The "popular" QB isn't so popular anymore. Trent still has a FEW VOCAL diehard fans, but the rest of us see him for what he really is.
  18. Agreed, with a 6-10 record the Bills should have a higher pick than #12.
  19. It's a SHORT list: Bobby April
  20. It could be argued that JP is also.
  21. Great post. Very astute take on the recent past coaches.
  22. JP has just as good a chance of resurrecting his career as Trent Edwards has of resurrecting his career after the GOD AWFUL year he had in 08, in fact JP probably has a better chance as he will be on a team other than Buffalo, most likely with GOOD coaches.
  23. So you never liked a coach that had the Bills 1 illegal bogus play away from the Super Bowl, but like a coach the brought 7-9, 7-9, 6-10 records? Your right! some Bills fans know NOTHING about coaches.
  24. Great thread. I can't wait to pull this back up around week 8 next year.
