Did you ever stop to think MAYBE the reason for all of the injuries the Bills have had is BECAUSE of Jauron? Perhaps if they had better strength & conditioning & DJ toughened them up by practicing OUTDOORS they would have not had as many injuries & played better. I gave Dick the benefit of the doubt in the past, but NO MORE. In my opinion he is the WORST COACH in the NFL PERIOD.

I NEED TO AMEND AN EARLIER STATEMENT I MADE. You can only record OTA on HD DVR's from Direct TV, not SD DVR's.

IF Trent can stay healthy (that is a BIG IF) he will have played in more games than JP by around Midseason 09. Next year JP will be on a team with COMPETENT COACHING, even if he never plays in 09 you can bet he will get "coached up". Trent will be in year three under DJ..............................GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

It is true that you can't watch different programs from the same receiver at this time ( there is talk that it is in the works) so I have OTA hooked up to my TV's as well.

Garcia will fit in nicely with the Bills, he is injured almost as often as Trent.

You have to pay $5 extra for each extra receiver after the 1st, however you can hook up more than 1 TV to a receiver, the remote control can be set to radio frequency so you can control the receiver from other rooms. I have 1 receiver hooked up to 2 TV's & another hooked up to 3 TV's.

You can record to DVR OTA on ALL Direct TV DVR's. The newer models require an external tuner which Direct TV will provide, the older models have the tuners built in. The features are the SAME on both the older & newer models.

I agree about a Vet QB, however I think it should be someone that can PUSH Trent into being BETTER. Competition is ALWAYS a GOOD thing.

If you can receive locals via OTA, that is your BEST option. The best picture & audio is OTA due to NO COMPRESSION of signal. For HD DVR with Direct TV you are looking at a TWO year commitment but you should be able to get a GREAT DEAL.

BINGO, Warren Sapp made the Tampa 2 WORK. Tampa has not had a GOOD D since he left, & SAPP's don't come around very often.

Like there isn't something seriously wrong NOW? How can a HC go 7-9 THREE YEARS IN A ROW, losing ALL SIX division games in the last year......................AND NOT GET FIRED?

With Dick coaching, I don't think it really matters who the QB is.

Does ANYONE think Trent will play all 16 games in 09 ( there will be NO PLAYOFFS for the Bills)? I sure don't & to me that equates to INJURY PRONE.

It won't matter who the Bills bring in, with Dick as coach the Bills will go 7-9.

My wife said with all the plastic surgery he has had he didn't look quite REAL, then when he talks after the stroke combined with his looks, he looks like a puppet.

I pretty much agree with you EXCEPT about Lee Evans. You said yourself, Trent can be sucessful in MID to SHORT passing routes. To take advantage of Evan's skills, he NEEDS a QB that can get him the LONG ball. That is NOT Evans fault his QB CAN'T get the ball to him.

Matt Ryan & Joe Flaco are excellent YOUNG talents. Phillip Rivers & Eli Manning are excellent young talents. We shall see how talented Trent is next year, now that teams have plenty of film on him. We do know he is INJURY PRONE no matter how talented he is.

Hindsight truly is 20/20, however playcalls aside Dick has made SO MANY BLUNDERS that cost the Bills Wins it is foolish to think he will do any better next year. I truly feel sorry for Dick & his family if the Bills don't win next year. The Bills have such a passionate fan base, the IDIOTS that are part of it will make Dick's & his family's life PURE HELL if the Bills lose.

I have seen this thought brought up before, but it deserves its own thread. It would not suprise me if Ralph is greasing the tracks for the Bills to leave upon his sale of the team. With the support the Bills have received in Buffalo it would be a public relations nightmare & black eye for the NFL, if the Bills were to leave. On the other hand if next year only 30 - 40 thousand people attend games the NFL can say "Well Buffalo didn't support the Bills so they HAD TO BE MOVED"

Going into the 09 season with Dick as HC, & Trent as the #1 QB is what's annoying.

Why would you expect different results this year than any other? It's not like Dick is a 2nd year ROOKIE as Trent has been called by his fans, He has been in this league for YEARS. I predict Bills W/L record in 09 as 7-9.
