    Not bragging at all, just reliving past days gone by. I don't think it is encouraging anyone to do anything. The young guys today are more interested in the SOUND SYSTEM than what is under the hood of their car.

    He also is injury prone. If he had ANYTHING left the Bucs would have kept him.

    Yeah, I remember that 74 Crash. It just wasn't our time to go, I believe that. Some of the closest calls I remember we came away without a scratch on the car, but were inches away from a HORRIBLE accident. My older cousin was killed racing in the street.

    Warren Sapp was so FUN to listen to when he was a Buc & had his own radio show. He said things on that show that he can't say on television.

    I got married in 76, so I would have to say 70 to 75. I know what you mean, we had some CLOSE CALLS. I remember someone once drove into the River, you remember that?

    Yeah, my friends & I raced on Ohio street EVERY Friday Night, sometimes on Saturday night.The younger guys that don't get Bruce Springsteen, he SPOKE to me & my friends. Racing In the Street by Springsteen, that song described my friends & myself. I was also involved in a couple of those fights outside Mighty Taco.

    Everone that is putting JP's failures on him alone, will tell us all next year "It wasn't Trent's fault, he had terrible coaching,....on & on" Next year will tell how much was JP & how much was his surroundings that led to his failure in Buffalo.

    Trent CAN"T even throw for 1 TD/GAME. 10 or 11 TD's is for the YEAR. He did put up 11 TD's this year so he should be good for 10 or 11 TD's next year.

    In retrospect it looks like SO FAR, Philip Rivers is the BETTER QB between Eli & himself.

    If you are refering to JP, for myself I stated in a post in this thread, you may be right about JP, I don't know, but then neither do you really.

    Huh? Flutie was a WINNER RJ was NOT. After Trent throws for another 10 or 11 TD's next year, I guess we will still hear about his poise.

    Next year should tell us about JP. I really don't know, maybe Bill & his crowd are right & JP SUCKS. JP may not even play much next year, I think the best thing for him is to get some COACHING to make him the best QB he can be.

    I went there from the day they opened but all the early Mighty's in OLD storefronts were GREAT. GOD I MISS MIGHTY TACO!

    I think JP is far more like Flutie than RJ. Flutie was & JP is GREAT at throwing the ball while on the move for example. I think if JP goes to a team that has good coaching & is smart enough to play to his strengths, he could yet have a good career. I think Trent is much more like RJ (without the arm) in that they are both an INJURY waiting to happen.

    You may be right, it is amazing SOME people still think Rob Johnson was a good QB.

    Same with the fake field goal. I said to my friends at the time "that was great BUT they should have saved it for LATER in the year when they may need it"

    Agreed & having a GOOD agent probably helps get an ex player a job. I would put Jaws at the top of the list of explayers that are good analysts.
