  1. He hit him with his shoulder 1st, the helmets were incidental. There was no flag & the announcers all thought it was a clean hit.
  2. The Giants will add a WR or 2 in the offseason & be just fine.
  3. Gruden HANDPICKED Bruce Allen to be his GM & had plenty of input on player selection. That said the Bucs were hamstrung with few draft picks & a high payroll from McKay's time when Gruden arrived.
  4. There has been no WORD from the Bucs yet.
  5. The Bucs locker room was divided about 50/50 on Gruden. Half the team loved him & half thought he was a phony & hated him. It has been that way since his 3rd year in Tampa. I have heard RUMORS Morris will get interviewed for the job (it would satisfy the Roony rule) but I will wait for the Bucs to announce he got the job before I believe it.
  6. Well, you have to admit Dick is consistant.
  7. No, the Bills should boot Jauron & hire Fassel as HC.
  8. I think that can be blamed on the Bills poor teams over the last 10 years. What sports store outside NY State would want to inventory apparel of a CONSISTANT 7-9 team. But hey the Bills are consistant.
  9. I'm pretty sure Trent will not have a good year next year with Jauron as his coach. We all can be sure he is injury prone, that is the one thing Trent has proven up to this point.
  10. Just as the Glazers fired Tony Dungy because he didn't get the job done, they fired Gruden. They had a plan in place when Dungy was fired & I will bet they have one in place now.
  11. I'm with you. Gregg hasn't even been a good DC let alone HC since he left Tenn. Jax was better on defense before he got there & the Skins were better on defense after he left. I doubt Shwartz will be any better than Gregg was.
  12. Speaking of Tebow, HOF member Jack Youngblood former DE with the LA Rams was on WDAE the other day & was asked his opinion of Tebow. His reply "Think of a FASTER, BIGGER, STRONGER Steve Young......that is Tim Tebow". When asked why Draft analysts had him rated so low, Jack said the Television & Radio guys like Kiper & McShay don't know anything, & that Teams never tell the truth about who they are interested in. He thinks Tebow will be a VERY GOOD NFL QB.
  13. The reason Seattle was moved is because the Man that bought the team WANTED them in his hometown.
  14. I think Dungy is done with football & will focus his energy on Faith/Social matters in the future, but if he does come back I think the only team he would go to is Tampa. He was on the Radio today plugging a pre Super Bowl event & said "I consider Tampa my home town."
  15. Future Hall of Famer Dereck Brooks, a Gruden supporter said on The Steve Dumeg show on WDAE tonight "When a team doesn't live up to its expectations it falls on the Coach" Brooks said he felt this team had the potential to WIN the Super Bowl. Brian Griese also felt that way & that is why he resigned with Tampa even though he didn't really like Gruden. Bruce Allen the Bucs GM was hand picked by Gruden & I'm guessing that is why he was fired.
  16. Yeah, he played GREAT last season. I just can't wait for another year of 11 TD's & a 7-9 record.
  17. And Detroit just signed the DC that replaced Gregg in Tenn. to be their Head Coach. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.
  18. Might as well hope for World Peace, that's more likely to happen.
  19. It amazes me, the VOCAL FEW on this board that "SEE something in Trent" or "Have a FEELING that Trent will be GREAT" or "Just KNOW Trent will be GREAT - Trust Me" when he has not shown ANYTHING except an inability to stay healthy.
  20. As a Buc's fan this is Great news.
  21. When I go to Home Depot or Walmart down here ANY TIME of the year, chances are I will meet a fellow Bills fan because we are both wearing a Bills shirt or hat.
  22. A little harsh on SKOOBY there. Why would it be fortunate to not go 4-0? I don't get that.
  23. The fact is these NEW stadiums are pricing the average fan out. When Raymond James Stadium was built a few years ago in Tampa, ticketholders that had season tickets for YEARS on the 40 to 50 Yardline maybe 10 rows up were told they had to pay a seat license of $2,500 upfront & their seats in the New Stadium would be between the 10 & 20 yardline & about 30 rows up, or they could get seats between the 20 & 30 yardline but their seats would be near the top of the stadium.
  24. I NEVER like moving up in a draft. JP, TD, it's all water under the bridge, the problem is it feels like we're in a canoe with one paddle trying to go against the current.
