You hit the nail on the head. Peters had a bad year because of the hold out. If he holds out again, he will have another bad year. If the Bills are smart they will PAY him & have him ready for OTAs as you said.

Pat White got a lot of face time because he had a GREAT game. If Tebow plays in the Senior Bowl next year (I doubt he will) I'm sure he will also get a lot of face time as he would also have a great game.

Listen to it again, it was the F bomb. I couldn't believe it so I replayed it & listened to it 4 times & I had headphones on because my wife was sick in bed & I didn't want to make any noise.

I disagree about Wade, it was TO & the offense which Wade had nothing to do with that ruined the Cowboys season.

The rules for the Senior Bowl make the defenses VERY SIMPLE.

Mike Mayock made a mistake with the telestrator, then made a MAJOR GAFFE. He said "how'd you like my telestration there?" (there was none) then "Man I'm Fu**ed up" I really like him & hope he doesn't get in too much trouble over this.

Agreed, & the disturbing thing to me is I have MUCH LESS confidence in Jauron going into 09, than EVER before.

The problem is the BIGGEST & most easily correctable problem has not been addressed. That would be the HEAD COACH. I see a young team with a coach without a CLUE.

I prefer to think of it as the John Rouch era revisited.

I agree a GOOD Coach is imperative, however you are WRONG if you don't think players are accountable to each other. I'm sure you have heard reports of different teams holding PLAYERS ONLY meetings. Future HOF LB for the Bucs, Derrick Brooks was talking about this subject just the other day on WDAE. He said it is very important for a team to have LEADERS on the team for other players to look up to & emulate. He said when he was a rookie Hardy Nickerson mentored him, & showed him what he needed to do in order to be successful in the NFL. He said as a rookie he did not dare loaf when he saw Hardy, a Pro Bowl Vet, Bust his ass every day in practice & the film room. He mentioned Sabby Pistachelli as a young player he has mentored, that has already started to assert himself in the locker room. I think veteran leadership is one of the things that separates the good teams from the bad.

According to WDAE today, Bates will install his own Defense. Also Bates was not the DC in Denver last year, & it was not his defense they ran. He is expected to install an agressive attacking defense. Morris is going to let his coordinators run the offense & defense.

I agree & if he wants to continue to coach in the AFC West (likely) he will take the KC job.

WDAE reported this afternoon that Herm Edwards was fired in KC. Speculation that Shannahan gets the KC HC job. Also Brian Schottenheimer has agreed to remain as OC for the Jets.

Tampa has hired Jim Bates as the new DC. Reported on WDAE this afternoon. Also Tampa is NOT raising ticket prices for 09.
