  1. That is the 1st time I saw Flaccos face. He could be Trent's ugly brother. JP looks much more like Adam Sandler than either of those guys look like Reeves.
  2. I agree & I'm not calling for a replacement for Trent. I think it would be good for the Bills & Trent himself however if the Bills had someone to push Trent for the starters job. Competition brings out the best in people JMO. Unless the Bills have faith in the Chroise, they NEED another QB, I just hope it is someone that can WIN a few games.
  3. Yeah I would take Reeves over Adam Sandler, not sure who Trent looks like.
  4. Living in S.W. Fla & being a Bucs fan (my 2nd favorite team) I had a chance to watch Matt Ryan & he looks like the real deal. He did not look like a rookie last year and I have heard his teammates say he did not act or play like a rookie. My 2nd choice would be Flacco with Quinn #3. I still think the Fins made a HUGE mistake taking Ginn instead of Quinn.
  5. I'm not making excuses for JP. All I'm saying is most people like JP as a person, I'm not talking about as a football player. As far as JP's carreer goes, if he is smart he won't worry about the money, but will look for a situation where he can salvage his carreer for the long term.
  6. You are correct about stats & I have always hated them. I would much rather judge with my own eyes than read stats from a page. I would agree, if traded Andersons contract would have to be reworked. I really don't see any good options for a QB, The most important stat in my opinion is TD's, that is the problem I have with Trent aside from his health issues.
  7. If Mularkey had stayed in Buffalo, he may have helped JP. However, JP had his leg broken by his own teammate his rookie year so that year was wasted & in his 2nd year Mularkey was trying to hang on to his job & didn't worry about trying to develop JP. He was after all the HEAD COACH not OC as he was with the other QB's you named.
  8. Yeah he probably was happy, after all the Bills did take him in the FIRST round. He got paid, but it hurt him long term going to the Bills.
  9. I agree about that, JP needs to go to a team that will help him finally develop his potential. Many people on this board say Trent needs a Vet QB to mentor him, tell me what kind of mentoring has JP had? I think the poor coaching in Buffalo has been a hinderence to JP & Trent both.
  10. I would pretty much agree, however I would only put about 10% on the receivers & 40% on Trent. The Bills have good receivers. If Manning or Brady were at QB there would be no problem with the receivers. It has been well documented that there were receivers open a lot last year & Trent did not get them the ball. Fitzgerald & Bolden could have been on the field for the Bills last year & it wouldn't have mattered. A receiver has to have the ball thrown to them to make a play.
  11. Yeah, cause Mike has a great rep for developing QB's.
  12. Agreed, LT's best days are behind him.
  13. What is the point of this? There is NO WAY SIXBURG trades Miller. Why even speculate on trades that will NEVER happen? Now if you said Kellen Jr. I would say I would give up a 1st.
  14. I don't think Trent is the biggest problem on the Bills, that would be COACHING. I posted this because a number of people on this board have said they would like to see Garcia in Buffalo & I found it interesting this knock on Garcia is also a WELL KNOWN knock on Trent.
  15. I heard on WDAE 620 AM Tampa, that Antonio Bryant is much more likely to sign with the Bucs now that he knows Jeff Garcia is not coming back. It seems he felt he was open numerous times & Garcia checked down rather than throw him the ball, which he was not happy about. Sounds familiar doesn't it?
  16. Aside from the very vocal HATERS on this board, I would say the majority of Bills fans like JP as a person. Reuben also had a number of people that did not care for his play while he was a Bill, they just weren't as vociferous with the HATERED.
  17. WHOOPS
  18. I agree the $14+ million can be a combination of bonus & 1st year salary, however I would think he wants that money upfront because unlike Fitzgerald Cassell is not going to get a 2nd LARGE contract let alone a 3rd.
  19. Good Post, I didn't realize Andersons #'s were that good. I say sign him if the price is right, especially if they throw Winslow in with the deal.
  20. thank you, this is what I am saying. Why would Cassell sign ANY contract worth less than $14+ million, & the majority of the money has to be on the front end of the contract in the form of a signing bonus in case he sucks & is cut he has his money.
  21. I would say yes, however he would want a signing bonus upfront that would probably match the $14+ million at least.
  22. I agree, & this is also my concern with Trent Edwards. It seemed as the year went on & teams got more film on him he played progressivly worse.
  23. I don't know if ANY of the QB's in this draft are worth a #1 pick, but I do know Cassell is NOT WORTH $14+ Million to ANY team except the Pats*
  24. Are you in the Market?
  25. Bledsoe still had a couple GOOD years in him when he came to the Bills, how soon people forget. The problem was the Bills did not have a very good team when he got to Buffalo. NOBODY knows for sure how Cassell will play next year, especially if it is on a different team.
