  1. I don't think it is a question of stamina. In the OLD DAYS guys played both offense & defense. Those guys back in the day NEVER trained in the offseason, knew nothing about conditioning, smoked & drank a lot more than most players today, I can't believe they had more stamina than todays players.
  2. In 05 JP was YOYOed in & out of the line up. In 06 he started & unlike Trent, played better at the end of the year. In 07 the offense was changed to suit Trent's strengths which are totally different than JP's & after being injured after 2 losses Trent was made the man. I would NOT call that being given every opportunity.
  3. He has ALREADY made more money than you will in your lifetime.
  4. I would take Gaines Adams over any Bills end except Schobel.
  5. You are to LAZY to post the players name & I'm to lazy to click on the link.
  6. We get a NICE BREEZE here on the West Coast, temp in the 80's most of the year. Aug & Sept are the only months the weather is oppressive to me.
  7. Exactly, JP is not only younger, but linemen play for more years on average than receivers.
  8. I think JP will go to the team he feels gives him the best chance to revive his career. He will be signed before training camp begins.
  9. I agree, thus far I think he has shown more than Trent.
  10. I'm not a new TO fan. I have always enjoyed watching him play, & found his outbursts amusing. I can't wait to CHEER for him as a Bill.
  11. I agree. I saw him play for the Fish & if healthy he will be a good pick up.
  12. You don't trade for the sake of trading. If a player is there at 11 that another team covets & offers GOOD compensation to move up you make the trade, otherwise you take the guy you have on your board.
  13. I just saw a TO pc on NFL Network. He said he was running routes with Trent & getting to know the guys. The hosts on NFL Network said he said all the right things, off to a GOOD start.
  14. I know you know what it means. I just think it is a good phrase for saying Be a MAN, ACT like a MAN. A WOMAN can "Be responsible" & more women are responsible then men. Whatever.................I think "Whatever" & "it is what it is" are both lame........not that I never use them.
  15. If the Bills don't play well this year, Dick will most likely be fired. Most likely BUT with Ralph who knows for sure. IF dick is fired the New Coach will want to bring in his own people, just like Denver did this year.
  16. Apples & Oranges. Anyone that knows football will tell you the O-line operates as a UNIT much more so than the D-Line. It takes TIME for the O-Line to get used to each other & jell. As GREAT as Bruce was, if he were an offensive tackle, he would have struggled as well after a hold out like Peters.
  17. I totally disagree with you about the expression "man up". It means to be & act like a MAN. I see these young guys today wearing earrings with their hair dyed blonde, like women & I just want to shout......... MAN UP
  18. You are a neighbor of mine. I had a Condo on the Beach on Manasota Key, we sold it when the market went CRAZY. I live 10 min. from the beach now, but have the use of my Brother inlaws Condo on Venice Beach.
  19. "It's ok to have a view about someone, but it's another to totally ignore some facts"............FUNNY line from a JP HATER.
  20. I live South of Tampa, & have been all over this Country & Canada. I have a brother inlaw that lives in Atlanta & have been there many times. It is Hotter in ATL than it is here on the Left Coast of Fla in the Summer, you NEED central A/C in Atlanta as much as Buffalo needs Furnaces in the Winter. As I said having been all over the Country, I can tell you without fear of dispute, there is NO PLACE NICER than Buffalo in the Summer.
  21. If I took a subtle shot in my post it was not at Trent, but at his FANBOYS that TRY to tell us all about his GREAT stats. I notice in your posts NEVER mentioned Lee Evans & it was documented NUMEROUS times last year how often he was open downfield & Trent NEVER threw him the ball.
  22. It has been reported that Dick Jauron was as responsible as anyone in the front office for the TO signing. This got me thinking in my idle moments over the weekend, MAYBE Dick has seen the light. We ALL know how adverse Dick has been in the past to taking ANY risk. He has been more conservative than the most conservative bean counter up to this point. The TO signing has to be the riskiest move of his coaching career. Does this move signal a profound change in his philosophy or was this just a total BS marketing move? I think we will know the answer to that question after the 1st game.
  23. Don't get me wrong, I REALLY don't want the Bills to trade Peters, HOWEVER the O-line played BETTER while he held out than the 1st 4 or 5 games after he came back. Players are INJURED all the time, so I look at a hold out the same as an injury. I think the Bills will be a BETTER team next year with or without Peters than they were in 08. That is UNLESS Trent misses significant playing time due to injury.
  24. Why would you consider this a shot at Trent? I just reported an article that I read about Jay Cuttler. I NEVER mentioned Trent (or JP Losman either).
