  1. He was very good at side stepping, moving around in the pocket, buying time before the injury. The Giants were able to get a lot of pressure on him in the Super Bowl, more than he had ever been pressured before, making him less effective than normal. What I am saying is with the injury it may take less pressure to get to him.
  2. I'm sure Rex Ryan will have his team beat up on Brady & the Pats* Brady may have lost the ability to move around in the pocket that he had, we shall see.
  3. There are nicer areas in the City than OP. That just goes to show how crappy Foxboro is.......................Orchard Park is MUCH NICER than Foxboro. People in Foxboro CAN'T subsidize their income by having people park because it would be too long a walk to the Stadium, not to mention all the Cows that would be run over.
  4. No Mrs Edwards. I was a Flutie fan.
  5. I think Butler just may be the best lineman on the Bills in 09 at RT.
  6. You must have thought TO signed with N.E.* Orchard Park is MUCH NICER than Foxboro.
  7. Losman is GONE get over it already. The focus going forward should be on Trent & not weather he is or could be better than JP or not. The focus should be can Trent be a QB that leads the Bills to the playoffs & Super Bowl PERIOD. I am not saying he has to do it in 09, but he has to show he has the ability to do it in the NEAR future.
  8. I had to make it about the apologists because of the STUPID responses they posted. To bring JP & Rob Johnson (I was a Flutie fan) into this thread is just STUPID.
  9. Too funny to see all the Trent fan apologists come to his defense. The fact is if Trent played better last year the Bills would have made the playoffs. Well this is a new year & Trent had better not check down all the time like he did last year or Mr. Owens will let him hear about it.
  10. Matt Ryan led his team to the playoffs & threw for 16 TD's for the year. If Trent can lead the Bills to the playoffs with 11 TD's that would be fine but I don't see it happening.
  11. Yeah we all know Trent is great at completions under 5 yards. The point is if he held the ball a little longer guys may get open that aren't for the first 15 seconds when he dumps the ball off. He may get a few more sacks but the rewards of the completed passes would be much greater.
  12. It would as I said be a tax write off & would be great PR for TO. Warrick Dunn buys 2 houses per year for worthy, in need single mothers. TO could have a place of his own to fix up as he likes then get the tax write off & PR when he leaves.
  13. It's great that Trent did not get sacked a lot, however he needs to throw for MORE TD's & less INT's. I would take a sack over an INT anyday.
  14. I have a great idea. TO should buy a house near the Stadium, fix it up REAL NICE...............................& donate it to a worthy charity when he leaves Buffalo. He not only could afford it, but could probably use the Tax write off.
  15. Yeah the Bills have TWO young guys ready to step up & contribute. Youboty & Corner..............they are both BETTER than any DB's on the Pats* Leodis showed last year he is ready to start...................that is the reason the Bills let Greer walk. As for McGee if he is average....................then the Pats* CB's are WAY BELOW average.
  16. Really. The Pats* are still solid upfront.....................but the further back you go the weaker they get. afcfan1 thinks the Bills will miss Greer...............................I would take any DB on the Bills over the DB's on the Pats*
  17. Nice post SKOOBY!
  18. The Bills may never get a hit on Brady because of Dick being so conservative. I expect many teams however to bring it to Brady. It may take an extra man blitzing but I guarantee you Ryan & the Jets will put the heat on Brady, as well as Miami & a good number of other teams in the league. We will see how Brady & the knee hold up. I think you are right about running though, I expect Belicheat to run Taylor & Maroney to take the pressure off Brady.
  19. Granted, Gruden knew what the Raiders were going to run before they ran it. Kind of like the Pats* only Gruden didn't cheat to get that knowledge, he drew up the play book himself. The fact is Rice looked TERRIBLE in that game. I don't think he caught a pass until the 3rd quarter. Watch the game again the next time they show it. The point is Rice has not been a winner after he left the 49ers anymore than TO & TO playing on a broken leg played a tremendous game in the Super Bowl with the Eagles & they only lost because McNabb is a loser.
  20. A team on the rise with holes to fill. The Pats* are an AGEING team, with their best days behind them.
  21. You may be right, but on the other hand the Pats* have a number of questions as well. Will Brady be the same after a year off? Or will he be RUSTY? Will his knee hold up? The fact that the Giants showed the World the way to beat Brady is to HIT him, then HIT him again, could lead to another injury to Brady & at his age the body takes longer to heal. The Pats* have lost not only Coaches but Pioli. It remains to be seen how well this draft was for them. The years have caught up with the Pats* Defense...............................it is not the defense it was a couple years ago. Finally with all the changes around the league, the film the Pats* had in the vault from cheating will be of much less use. Does Billy dare hire a new camera man?
  22. The Pats* are really looking desperate. They may have Brady back, but their defense is looking very shakey.
  23. No it was not sarcasm it was the truth. Rice looked TERRIBLE in the Super Bowl loss to the Bucs. I was not talking about his entire career, just since he left the 49ers.
  24. Rice has done no better without Owens.
  25. The original post you responded to was about PHILLY NOT DALLAS. TO was the MAN in that Super Bowl & if McNabb had played better the Eagles would have won..........................& that's a fact.
