  1. TOO BAD for you...................I would LOVE to see Favre in Minn. this year.
  2. Exactly, the majority of players will vote for a Cap with a minimum teams must spend.
  3. You're expecting Trent to get injured before week 8?
  4. Win or lose against the Bills, the Pats* face the Jets in game 2............................on a short week. I hope Dick will have the Bills play agressive Football in week 1. I KNOW Rex will have the Jets play that way week 2. It will be FUN to see the DIRTY Pats* get their noses bloodied.
  5. There will be no collusion. Jerry & Danny will SPEND to buy a championship in the uncapped year. The problem for the players is the other 29 owners. If no one else spends only a FEW players will get RICH & the rest of the players will be like the rest of us facing a down economy. They will struggle to maintain their current income. If there is no new CBA before the uncapped year there will be soon after.................................& it will have a Rookie Cap & a General Cap with both a Maximum & Minimum.
  6. I hope you are right about Trent. I can't wait to find out. Get your popcorn ready.
  7. I agree turnovers are important. Turnovers by the QB in BOTH Jets games cost the Bills a Win. 7-9 could have been 9-7 very easily.
  8. I just picked up Lindy's 2009 preview mag. They had the Bills Secondary rated as 5th best in the league. The best in the AFC East. Breakout Season: Jim Leonhard, NY Jets Wide Receivers Best #1; Terrell Owens-#4 Best #2; Lee Evans-#1
  9. While next year is uncapped as far as the maximum, it is also uncapped as far as the MINIMUM. Teams have a minimum they must spend with the cap. Without a cap a CHEAP owner could elect to spend VERY LITTLE. I have been hearing that the players are leery of this & will want to have a cap with a minimum teams must spend in the new CBA.
  10. If not the same person................you're his brother from another Mother.
  11. The Vikings have a very strong team. If Brett joins them I believe the Minn. front office & Brett both believe he has enough left to take them all the way. It should make the Season EXCITING if he does come back & I disagree about revenge. Revenge can be SWEET.
  12. Yes that is basicly correct. Maybin because he is younger will get BIGGER & STRONGER, & has more upside than Orapko. Orakpo has fully matured already.
  13. If Brett had more weapons, as he PLEADED with Thompson to get him, he would not have had to throw that pass.
  14. OK, I may have gotten carried away with that................SORRY. I know I am right about Mike & Gregg though.
  15. I was all for the Bills keeping Peters. The fact is the Bills offered him the same deal he signed with Philly & he REFUSED. If he has ANY success with Philly you can bet the house he will pull the same crap with them to renegotiate his contract.
  16. I am realistic both are AVERAGE as DC & OC but Neither will be a HC again. You said they were both successful after leaving the Bills, implying the Bills were wrong to let them go. That is just flat out WRONG. I know you HATE the Bills, but please be realistic.
  17. Thompson was playing games with Favre. He could have made just a couple moves here & there the last few years Brett was there & it would have made a BIG difference to the team. Brett PUBLICLY pleaded with him to do so, but Ted REFUSED. They were CLOSE to being good enough to get back to the Super Bowl............................but Ted REFUSED to do ANYTHING to make it happen. That is what FRUSTRATED Favre into his indicision year after year about coming back, then to tell him he will just be a BACK UP, without the CHANCE to EARN the Starters job. You don't do that to a HOF QB that still has ABILITY to play & LOVE of the Game. Thompson is a TOOL. I would LOVE to see Brett come back & win the Super Bowl with the Vikings.
  18. The HC job was supposed to be Greggs when Gibbs retired. It was a LOCK. Danny boy had a change of heart after talking to his players & interviewing Gregg FOUR times. Williams will NEVER be a HC in the NFL again. Mularkey, WAY down the road MAY get another shot, but a doubt it. The POINT is you said they have both gone on to success after leaving the Bills. Mularkey was DEMOTED from OC to position coach after leaving the Bills.................You call that Success??????? Williams had GOOD players in DC & didn't do much with them, he not only did not get the Head Coach job PROMISED him when hired by Danny Boy, but he even lost his DC job which paid a LOT of Money.....................You call that Success?????? I REPEAT Neither of those two will EVER be a HC again.
  19. If Favre comes back it will be because he LOVES the Game...............Not to teach the Packers a lesson. Now teaching Ted Thompson the Packers GM a lesson will be Iceing on the Cake. Thompson is a TOOL not Favre.
  20. I doubt either Mularkey or Williams ever sniff a HC job again. Hell Greggo can't even hang on to a DC position.
  21. Actually NO, The Bills added a top flight scout before the 09 draft in Buddy Nix.
  22. Do you realize Reed was a RB before being converted to receiver? There is a HUGH difference between Reed & Parish with regards to their bodys. That said, I like Parish also.
  23. Pretty Good...........but I would swap Cincy & Indy. Cincy should be in the same division as Cleveland.
  24. I for one would have no problem with McKinney starting the Season. He is a good player, not great, but good enough to hold down the Fort until the Rookies are ready.
  25. I'm not sure what you mean by meathead...............but Buddy Ryan was a SMART Coach & was responsable for the BEST Defense in the NFL maybe of all time with the Bears.
