I think the O-line will be OK by the time the Season starts & improve from week to week.

Yeah, I wish the Bills would play a more aggressive Defense like the Bucs are going to play this year.

As a Bucs fan, I loved the play of the Defense in the 1st half. The O-line also played great but Leftwich played like Trent, some nice passes, but he couldn't get them into the end zone.

The Bucs 1st string Defense DOMINATED the Fins. 3 - 3 & outs in a row. I think the Fins had less than 50 Yds total for the 1st half.

How about the Jets game 2 years ago. The Bills were losing until JP came in for an injured Trent & won the game. Did they give Trent credit for that win?

Imagine where the Bills would be today if they had traded up for Big Ben instead of JP.

Jones did play college ball at Arkansas, so I think he knows football a LITTLE better than Danny boy. I would say Danny is the equivalent of a poster on this board with MONEY. In other words Scooby is really Dan Snyder.

Yeah he can out run them both but if the ball isn't there it won't matter. The receiver has to have the ball where he can reach it. If the ball is underthrown, or overthrown, MOST LIKELY a DB will get the ball because in double coverage they play one man short the other deep.

According to the dictionary, one of the definitions of an idiot is a foolish or stupid person. I am not really criticizing Trent for not being able to beat double coverage, VERY FEW QB's are able to make that throw into a tight window where it has to be for the receiver to make a play. My post was more of a rebuff of the poster that blamed Evans for not being able to beat a double team. My point was the ONLY way a receiver can beat a double team is if the QB throws a PERFECT pass.

Learn to read IDIOT. I said Trent COULD NOT throw an accurate pass that Lee could make a play on when there is double coverage, not that he refused to throw it.

I watched the Chicago game again last night. Trent had a couple nice throws to Lee but he could not get the Bills into the end zone. I don't want to hear about his completeion percentage anymore. If Trent is any good, with the weapons he has this year, he better throw TD's....................and I mean a bunch of them.

Leftwich looked better against the Titans & McCown looked better against the Jags. They both looked better than Edwards in both games. The job as you said is still up for grabs.

When Rome is on WDAE from 12-3 I turn off the radio & listen to Shredd & Ragan podcasts. They are much funnier & are better at interviews than Rome. IMO.

While Trent does have a winning record, it is against the WORST Teams in the league. How many games has Trent won against teams with winning records?

You may think Lee can't beat double coverage. I think Trent can't beat double coverage because he can't throw the ball where Lee can make a play on it with two guys all over him.

I am hearing if the Buc's can't make a trade, the loser between McCown & Leftwich for starter will be cut. Johnson will be the #3 QB.

If Evans plays well this year (which he will), it will just prove the Bills need another GOOD receiver opposite him so the other team can't double & triple team him every play. I would love to see TO finish out his career in Buffalo, much like HOF James Lofton.

Yes, and if you watched them play they are all FAST (except Hovan who is a beast). They will play an aggressive Jim Bates defense while the Bills are still using the Tampa 2. The Bucs looked much better against the Titans than the Bills did.

If you take JP's numbers out of there the percentage probably goes down to 10% passes thrown for 10 or more yards.

What do you know about the Bucs? I would guess NOTHING. They have a better coaching staff than the Bills, a better O-line, & better defense than the Bills. I think the Bucs finish 8-8. We shall see about the Bills.
