If you aren't familiar with the Cards as Alphadog has said, you could go back to the Flutie/Johnson Bills. The Bills O-line looked like a totally different unit when Doug was behind center than when Rob was.
As others have already said, a GOOD QB can still be effective with a poor O-line. I don't think the Bills O-line is as bad as some want to think & will get better with time.
You can have the best O-line in the NFL, unless you have a good QB it won't matter. That is the reason the Jets went after Favre last year & the Vikings did this year.
The problem with the run game is defenses have NO FEAR that Trent will throw the ball downfield so they play 8 in the box. Lee can get downfield if Trent could only get the ball to him.
Galloway is a great weapon if he can stay healthy, that has been his problem the last couple years. He should be good to go in N.E.* with an all access pass to all the HGH he needs.
Butler refused to meet with Ralph to discuss a new contract. His contract was up, Ralph just got rid of him a couple months early because he knew he was leaving anyway. When Butler did leave, he left the Bills a MESS to clean up.
The was by far the worst game the Bucs had from the QB position. I don't know how much the Fins defense had to do with it, but the O-line gave Leftwich plenty of time. I am happy Garcia is gone, while he plays well at times, he is injured often.
I have listened to their podcast & the OP is correct. They are both just really negative people about EVERYTHING. Aside from that Leo Roth gets MANY facts WRONG, so no they are not great.
