As much as I hate Fischer, I would love him as coach of the Bills.

The SAD FACT is any time Trent has faced a GOOD team, he has not looked as good as JP has against good teams. Please don't tell me he played good against the Pats*. He had two good drives, the rest of the game he was mediocre. People like to point to his record & say it is better than JP's but they don't factor in the teams he has played against. This year Trent BETTER step it up or he will be history along with Dick.

You are forgetting Lou Saban. Ralph hired him TWICE. I can't wait until Ralph fires Dick. Who knows? Ralph may get lucky with the next one.

Or DJ chose Edwards over Losman because he liked Trents personality because it was much like his own. I am so sick of Trent & DJ, I can't wait until next year when hopefully both of them will be gone.

If you could get over your love for Captain Checkdown you would be able to view NFL football in a much more objective way.

Trent had a bad game period. The O-line is much better than most people thought they would be. The Bills lost this game not because of the O-line or defense.

There are OPTIONS on EVERY playcall. Trent is Captain Checkdown. The LOSS is ALL on Trent.

This loss is on Trents shoulders alone.

The Bucs should have worn their Creamsicle uniforms for this game, they played like the Bucs from that era. Look for Josh Freeman to get the Starting job SOON.

While I agree about Crabtree, I'm not shedding any tears for the 49ers. I love it, after the number of times they have gotten the better of the Bills, it's NICE to see them have problems.

WDAE the flagship station of the Bucs & BEST sports station in Tampa airs H.S. Football Friday night, & has a show on Sat morning recapping the action from all the area schools Friday Night games. The radio station in my area also airs Friday H.S. football, but Englewood Fl is only about the size of Depew.

The only dispute I have with this post is about H.S. Football................I LOVE it as do MANY other people around the Country. Great way to spend a Friday evening. I moved to Ft Myers Fla when Deion Sanders was a Senior in H.S. I had the privilege of watching him play his Senior year. I have seen some plays at the H.S. level that would be on ESPN if an NFL player made them.

The Pats* were picked to win the game by all three people on NFL Networks AFC Playbook show. I would love to see the Falcons win this game, & I think they will.

I agree, if Trent can stay healthy this year. If he gets injured again, I don't think it matters how good he could be. An injury prone QB is of little value no matter how good he is.

The GM's job is to acquire players. It is the Coaches job to decide which of those players play. I can't think of one successful team that the GM told the coach who to play. No decent coach would put up with that. In fact Bill Parcells had a famous saying regarding this subject. He said "If I'm cooking the dinner, I should have a say in buying the groceries." He wanted some control over who was acquired (the GM's job).

The INT against the Bucs was just a HORRIBLE throw.

I disagree. Jerry Rice is the EXCEPTION to the rule.

He has been talked about as a 1st round pick for quite a while. John Clayton said he expected him to go in the middle of the 1st a couple weeks ago. If Jax takes him, he could go a little higher than that, but whatever team takes him it will no doubt be with their 1st pick.

If a person wants to live in Fla, I have NO IDEA why they would choose Jacksonville. The only City in Fla that is worse than Jax is Starke.

Without playing a single down for the Bucs. Good move by the Bills to jettison him.

I don't think TO would mind being franchised. Tampa franchised Antonio Bryant to the tune of $10 MILLION + .............not quite DOUBLE what TO signed for this year but almost.
