  1. Same here. I will watch & hope for the best. Worst case senerio is Trent & the Bills stink it up again in which case both he & Dick are one step closer to the door. Trent may not watch Football but no doubt, the NEXT Bills Coach does.
  2. While NONE of Trent's problems were caused by Trent, but by others.
  3. Trent is SUPPOSED to be SMARTER than Kelly & MOST other QB's in the league. It would be EXTREMELY STUPID to hide a concussion. That could affect a person for the rest of his life.
  4. JP 's career MAY well be dead. I am NOT the one starting all of the STUPID JP threads, it is you HATERS that are. I just hope Tebow does not go to the Pats* because I would hate to have to root against him. Will you still root for Trent when he is on another teams BENCH in 2 years?
  5. The JP HATERS Club start a new thread about him constantly, even though he is no longer a Bill. I quarantee when the Loco's play their 1st game there will be at least 1 JP thread probably more.
  6. Ralph keeps Dick for 2010 because he knows there will be no football in 2011 & he doesn't want to pay another Coach for nothing.
  7. If Trent is run out of town, it will be because of his own inept play, not because people on a message board complained about his inept play.
  8. If Trent is unable to put points on the board, then yes Trent must go.
  9. This thread is just a WEAK attempt to deflect criticism away from Trent.
  10. Like what? Don't you think Trent should be given the rest of the year?
  11. The ring finger on my right hand is very similar, hope I don't have to cut it off.
  12. Yeah, for years Denver had one of the smaller O-lines in the league but they ALWAYS ran the ball WELL.
  13. My Son inlaw is a Fins fan. Finhaven is a GREAT board. ALMOST as good as Two Bills Drive.
  14. I did as well. I LOVED Gloria. God was she HOT back in the day.
  15. I agree with you about stats.............I HATE them. My theory about TD's can not be used over an entire career because some players like Testeverde for example played a LONG time while other BETTER players had a much shorter career. It so happens I am also a Bucs fan as well as a Bills fan so I have watched Testeverde quite a bit over the years. If we use him as an example, his first few years as a Buc he was terrible & without looking it up I would bet on a year by year basis his TD #'s would reflect that. As he matured & improved I'm sure his TD #'s went up. In my opinion he never was a VERY GOOD QB, he was more of a game manager, but he was DURABLE so I am sure his career TD #'s look pretty good.
  16. It really isn't up to me about Trent any more than it was up to me about JP. I felt the Bills gave up on JP too early & I am sure many people will feel the same way about Trent when the time comes. Please believe me, nothing would make me happier than to see the light come on for Trent & watch him throw 11 TD's to TO 10 to Evans & another 8 to other receivers SHATTERING JP's best year TD # & watching the Bills in the playoffs.
  17. I totally agree. I would rather WATCH a player on the field than look at numbers on a page.
  18. If Trent does not improve, he may not play in the NFL much longer. JP may be finished or he may be like a phoenix & rise again to play in the NFL. Stay tuned.
  19. The problem with JP is so far he has also shown he has Mike Vicks brain.
  20. If you are quoting stats for their entire career that does not hold any merit. Compare them on a YEAR by YEAR BASIS & tell me how far off I am. I agree with you about turnovers they are also important to look at.
  21. YES!!!!!! You don't hit a teammate like that in practice. Especially a QB in a RED jersey not EXPECTING to be hit. Troy Vincent is a SCUM BAG!!!!!!
  22. I agree with this premise, that is why I said "most likely". You may find a QB that is on a team that likes to run it in when in the Red Zone that may have a few fewer TD's thrown than an inferior QB but over all I think this is the best measure of a QB. When comparing Trent & JP they played on basically the same team & in his best year JP has thrown for almost TWICE the amount of TD's as Trent has so far in his best year.
  23. JP LOST Football games against the BETTER teams in the league & so has Trent.
  24. I think the point people are trying to make is as bad as you think JP is, SO FAR Trent has been every bit as bad, maybe even worse.
  25. Passing TD's OVERRATED? That is the CRAZIEST thing I have ever heard. 99% of the other QB stats are pointless & overrated if you will. Passing TD's is the one stat that you can use to see how GOOD a QB is. You can't use it to compare QB's from different eras, but if you compare QB's that were contemporaries the QB with the most TD's is most likely the better QB.
