I am not saying he would take it but I would not be surprised to see him go to a college team. If the Bills hire Allen I would not be surprised if Gruden was hired as the next coach of the Bills.

Allen & Gruden have been GOOD friends since both were VERY young. Gruden used to go over to the Allen's house for dinner. George Allen's house that is, Bruce was still living under his parents roof. I have heard Gruden tell some great stories about going down into the basement with George & Bruce & studying game film with George teaching them the game.

Gruden & Allen were hampered in Tampa when it comes to the draft. Rich McKay traded TWO 1st rnd picks for Keyshawn Johnson & the Bucs were at the limit capwise due to contracts McKay gave to the players on the Bucs so they could not sign free agents when Gruden & Allen arrived. Then the Glazers gave Davis TWO 1st rnd picks & I think a 2nd rnd pick for Gruden. In his time in Tampa I think Allen has drafted pretty well considering what he had to work with. Edit: yeah it was two 2nd rnd picks.

Word down here is Louisville wants Gruden.

Agreed things spiraled out of control, the Point is Gruden chose Garcia over all the other QB's he had & Garcia let him down, losing game after game.

He could not get it done in Tampa last year & cost Gruden his job.

OK, but you made it sound like that was Lees fault when it is clear to everyone but a few of Trents closest friends that the fault is Trents.

He also made the decision three years ago to bench Losman rather than try to develop him with the two years he had left on his contract in favor of Trent who does not have the physical tools to be a good NFL QB.

Without team homerism there is NO POINT to sports such as Football, Hockey, Baseball. We can all root for our favorite golfer or tennis player. Why don't you people that are not Bills HOMERS just go root for another team like the Pats*?

No you didn't. I asked for a link that showed what Peters was willing to accept prior to the trade because you said everyone but me knew what it was. You DID NOT provide that link. You provided a link showing what he asked for which was MUCH higher than what he signed for.

The ONLY reason the Bills signed Fitzpatrick was to avoid that. The problem is Trent is playing so poorly that Fans will accept ANYONE in his place. Did ANYONE expect the Bills to win when Trent stepped on the Field to start the 3rd quarter after putting up his usual 3 points in the 1st half? I sure didn't. I'm sure there are a number of bitter JP supporters but this is about Trent, JP is no longer a Bill. Edwards would not be a starting QB in the NFL if not for Dick Jauron & when Dick is fired he won't be.
