I heard something interesting today I did not know about the Bucs. They have had the LOWEST payroll in the NFL the last three years. Looks like Grudens hands were tied.

A team drafting high in the 1st round also drafts high in EVERY round after that. The Bills were one pick away from getting Patrick Willis a couple years ago.

I think all of JP's fans are Fitz fans. That is because we never bought into Edwards & have nothing invested in him. I also think MANY former fans of Trent are off his bandwagon & are now also Fitz fans. I don't think anyone thinks Fitz is the answer, he just gives the Bills a better chance to win at this point. Fitz will face a VERY good defense this week in the Texans, so I would not be surprised if the Bills lose. That said I don't think Trent could do any better.

Agreed, but do you really want the Bills to sign Trent to a new contract for a lot of money with his injury history?

There are DIFFERENT things to do in Western NY than San Diego, but I would bet there are just as many things to do on a Sunday afternoon.

By year THREE we should see MUCH MORE than glimpses. I doubt the game plan was changed for Fitzpatrick.

the Bills put up 20 points with Fitz at QB, that is equal to the points the Bills put up in the last THREE full games Trent played.

As bad as the O line & Fitz looked for much of the day, the Bills made enough plays to win the game. I thought it was an exciting game. I would much rather watch Fitz throw an incomplete pass to a WR than watch Trent throw a 2 yard completion.

Did you watch the game today? Aiken played very well the entire game. I would not be surprised to see Billy* give him a larger role in the future based on his play today.

Marino went to the Super Bowl his rookie year, & would have been to many more if not for the Buffalo Bills. Warner was in a slump playing like Trent then finally got it together again in Arizona.

Gruden added missing pieces to the Bucs when he got there along with an offense. The Bucs were NOT favorites to get to the Super Bowl. Gruden beat the Eagles in Philly a VERY GOOD team, for the NFC Championship. After winning the Super Bowl the Bucs started losing players to free agency as well as Coaches such as Lovie Smith, Mike Tomlin, Rod Marinelli, Raheem Morris, etc. This was their problem, they couldn't replace the coaches & the players because they didn't have draft picks, & couldn't sign free agents due to the fact they were at the cap limit. The Bucs were forced to let some good players leave because of their contracts & the cap. Last year he stuck with Garcia at QB, a big mistake in my opinion, he cost Gruden his job. I can't argue the fact his players didn't trust him, they didn't. The Bucs draft record under Allen was pretty good I think considering the lack of picks they had.
