  1. I enjoy your posts- You crack me up.
  2. I was not at the game, I saw it on TV. The POINTS the Giants scored in the 4th were scored by the DEFENSE on INTERCEPTIONS by Trent. If the weather was that brutal, maybe some poor play calling was involved, however it was still Trent that threw those picks that led directly to Giants points & win. Everyone knows the weather can be brutal in Buffalo late in the season, if Trent can't handle the weather, he won't be a good QB for the Bills, no matter how smart he is- just my opinion.
  3. I don't think JP will or should see the field unless Trent gets injured because he won't be a Bill in 09 unless both the Bills & JP have a change of heart.
  4. I agree with everything in this post. I hope they don't jerk Trent around like they did JP.
  5. Having watched SO MANY bad Bucs teams the CFL would have probably won years 2-10 also....... but any given Sunday Go Bucs.
  6. I picked LAST in my fantasy league last year, so pickings were slim. Rudi Johnson was the 1st RB I chose. I picked up Marshawn Lynch a few rounds later. After dropping Rudi, I picked up Ryan Grant & rode him & beast mode all the way to the Championship game (I lost).
  7. I try to focus on FOOTBALL in my posts. Read your own posts, most are like post #36 in this thread & have NOTHING to do with football.
  8. I get it, only JP plays in a vacuum. I agree a QB does not play in a vacuum THAT SHOULD INCLUDE JP. Interceptions however, I believe are pretty much on the QB. An interception that is returned for a TD is about the worst thing that can happen in a game aside from injuries. If Trent did not throw those interceptions at the end of the game, the Bills had a very good chance to win the game, so for anyone to say Trent outplayed Eli is crazy. I thought Trent played well most of that game, but he fell apart at the end.......where was the poise? The Giants game & the Jets game where Trent played poorly before getting hurt are really what has me most concerned about his ability. With better playcalling he may have put some points on the board in the Dallas game. I will give him a Mulligan for the Browns game because I am sure he never saw weather like that before, let alone play in it.
  9. Are you CRAZY? Trent lost that game remember. It was not the defense or anyone else but Trent that lost that game. The Bills were WINNING the game until Trent started throwing INTERCEPTIONS. The Giants said after the Super Bowl the Bills game was the PIVOTAL game of their season.
  10. Uhh how about a CRAP of an O-line, Crap for receivers aside from Evans, just an overall inferior team, including poor coaching.
  11. Personally, I like Nantz MUCH MORE than Costas. Marino is a CBS employee and should be back. Collinsworth won't be, not sure about Carter. I would love to see Warren Sapp take Carters place. He had a radio show in Tampa while playing for the Bucs. He is articulate, funny as hell, not afraid to speak his mind, & would bring a defensive flavor to the show. Showtime has really taken HBO's place as the premier pay network in my opinion. They have much more compelling original programming than HBO now, better movies, & include the Movie Channel in their package.
  12. CBS is the parent company of Showtime.
  13. Per ProFootballTalk.com, Inside The NFL will be on Showtime this season on Wednesday nights. Looks like Jim Nantz instead of Bob Costas.
  14. Well there is the Canadian Ballet.
  15. I can respect someones opinion if they don't think JP has what it takes to be a good QB. I don't know if JP will ever be a good QB or not myself yet. I just don't think he has been given a fair shot YET. I have REPEATEDLY stated I DO NOT WANT TO SEE TRENT FAIL. If he does, it will be another WASTED season for the Bills, because JP will be GONE next year. I think what makes a person a HATER is the fact they run him down & just want him gone (doesn't matter if the Bills get nothing for him or have NO ONE to REPLACE him.) These are the same type of people that wanted Flutie gone.
  16. Flutie was playing in the CFL, not by choice, but because he could not get a job on ANY NFL team, after his stint in Chicago because he was not considered to be any good. The other QB's you named were also playing in the CFL, not by choice, but because they were deemed not good enough to play in the NFL, until a team finally gave them a chance, like Buffalo did with Flutie. There have been a number of "elite" CFL QB's who never were given the chance to play in the NFL. Like Flutie in Chicago, JP has played on some terrible teams. I think it is a fair comparison because we will never know if JP COULD be a good QB when surrounded by a good team, the same way no one knew if Flutie would be a good QB until he was finally on a good team.
  17. May argue? There were a number of RJ supporters that did in fact carry forth that argument. That does not mean they were any more right than the JP HATERS are today.
  18. Flutie was not considered a good QB before coming to a VERY GOOD Bills team. He was in fact playing in the CFL. It is funny how a QB can look MUCH BETTER when surrounded by better players.
  19. I think the problem is they are forcing people to buy the entire package. Hell I don't know if I'll even be alive 5 years from now.
  20. For an IT guy, you don't make very intelligent compelling arguments. All you do is spin a bunch of CRAP, but hey at least we both agree Canada is a GREAT Country, with a MUCH BETTER health care system than the US.
  21. I was only pointing out the similarities between the Flutie/ RJ team & this team. I can remember people bashing Flutie the way they bash JP now. The HATERS have tried to compare RJ to JP, where I think Flutie is more like JP & RJ is more like Trent. We all know JP will be gone next year, the way Flutie was gone the next year, so I was only saying what could happen this season in that post. I could see Trent getting injured due to his past history, & JP coming in to play. That does not mean I want to see Trent get injured. I want to see the Bills WIN in 08. If they win with Trent at QB, I will be happy. I DO NOT want to see Trent FAIL & the Bills LOSE. When the Bills played the Titans, I wanted Flutie at QB, not RJ. When the Bills took the field against the Titans I cheered as loud & supported them as much as I would have if Flutie were playing. When the Bills take the field in 08, I will SUPPORT them & Trent as much as I would if JP were behind center.
  22. EXPLAIN TO ME where the crap is. It is a FACT it is YOU JP HATERS that ALWAYS bring up the JP/Trent CRAP. I do SUPPORT WHOEVER the QB is. ALL I have ever said is JP did not get a fair shake, & I do not understand the HATRED towards him. The fact I don't have BLIND FAITH in Trent & his ability does not mean I hope for his failure. If he stays healthy, plays well, & the Bills win, I will HAPPILY jump on the Trent bandwagon. Now how about you HATER, how about supporting ALL Buffalo Bills players as I do.
  23. I think Fairchild was MUCH to blame for BOTH QB's problems last year. Here's to Turk being a Much better OC than Fairchild.
  24. If you read the threads & posts about JP & Trent, it is ALWAYS JP HATERS that start the crap. JP is a Bill & I would urge you & every other Bills fan to support him as well as Trent. I would say 99% of JP's supporters also support Trent, 99% of JP HATERS just show HATE for JP. As a Bills fan, I hope Trent has a GREAT season, if he doesn't however, I will JUMP ON the JP HATERS at the appropriate time.
