  1. Articles about new ice cream flavors , cheerleader rallies, and place kickers. These really are the dog days of summer. Never thought I'd say this but I miss the OTA's!
  2. I hope the finals are on ESPN 8, the "OCHO". Back to you Cotton.
  3. The only time what the experts have to say counts is in July. We just have to get it done on the field. I expect our D to be much improved. Basically five new starters. Poz could have 150 tackles this year. I like what Fewell did last year. Some innovative things. As to the offense, who knows? New co-ordinator and we honestly don't know if the QB can get us in the end zone consistently. But it almost has to be better than last year, doesn't it? One thing I have to say is that I am NOT ready to call Lynch a star. He so far is in the Henry- McGahee mold: a nice runner but not what I thought we were getting when we drafted him. There were times when I thought Jackson was better. Lynch must have more long runs for the Bills to take the next step Schonert MUST open up the offense, maybe even a little no-huddle to keep us awake when the bills have the ball.
  4. Best time of year. No injuries and no losses. Optimism rules.
  5. AS someone who lives in Joisy and saw a lot of Giant games last year, I can tell you that Mitchell had an outstanding season, making plays and stopping the run. I was thrilled with his signing. He adds size and savvy.
  6. Who are you kidding? Schobel was invisible last season as a rusher. Kelsey is invisible every season. The return of Denney and the kid from VT give me hope though.
  7. I think opening day will tell us a lot about what kind of team we have, just as it did last year. Seattle is the kind of team... if we are a good team we will beat them. If we're not we won't.
  8. Fairchild sucked. His playcalling cost us games last year;Denver and Dallas to name 2
  9. Yeah that's the point I was making
  10. The early returns on this guy seem to be favorable. He has taken charge of the offense. He threatened to pull them off the field after a bad practice. The receivers are saying there a lot of new patterns to learn which is good because the old ones didn't work. He's going to allow Trent to audible which should take advantage of his high football I.Q. Supposedly there is a Sam Wyche influence to his offense. Wyche had a cool O with the Bengals. There is hope for our offense. He is the TURK. Your thoughts?
  11. Jauron sounds ready to open it up this season.
  12. Throw in a couple of 100 yard games.
  13. You forget one thing . He was probably drunk at thetime. He risked trying to get away with it versus the damage to his rep. from a drunk driving charge.
  14. I think Christian Gaddis was driving. Lynch is showing Bills loyalty.
  15. It makes sense that the hit and run has to be more severe or every drunk (M. Lynch) would just flee the scene.
  16. It's the power of the chroise!
  17. Somebody should have told Fairchild!
  18. We have two of the best return men in the league. Can't see him being more than the primary back-up to them, in addition to his starting corner duties.
  19. Trust the Mayock. He said he didn't have a first round grade on any receiver in the draft. Everyone said he was crazt and look what happened! I do agree we've had almost as hard a time replacing Hull as we have Kelly.
  20. If this kid had gone to Georgia, he would have been a second rounder. I expect him to get carries by mid-season.
  21. As a resident of N.J., I watched a lot of Giant games last year. Mitchell was very solid all season and showed big play ability. I was thrilled when the Bills got him. I also do not believe they overpaid. You never know how these things will work out but I believe this signing really upgraded our defense. We went from a very mediocre linebacker core to Poz, Kawika and Crowell. I'm EXCITED!
  22. Latest word out of One Bills Drive is that the Bills will be unveiling the Double Nickel package this year- Ten cornerbacks (and Dante Whitner).
  23. Viti may turn out to be great. But is starting camp hoping an UDFA is the man really the way to go?
