  1. You stole my post
  2. Agree. The TD approach was the right one. He was just the wrong guy. The only time we have been good since 1980 is when Polian got Ralph to open up the purse for Kelly, Bennett, etc, and Ralph made sure that didn't last very long.
  3. Yeah, I think that debate is just about over.
  4. Edwards doesn't have the smarts either.
  5. I think Dick is going to attack the 3-4 utilizing the wishbone offense with Roscoe at quarterback. He's saving it.
  6. The team is going to suck this year anyway, so let's play the kids over washed up veterans.
  7. AS far as I am concerned Edwards has played his way out of the job . He shows zero command of the offense and no confidence to make plays and STILL turns it over even though he checks down 75% of the time. It's not all coaching because this offense moves and scores with the other guys.
  8. I would like the back-ups by 14. Some positions where the back-ups are markedly better: Quarterback. The gap keeps widening.I thought Edwards was gonna be great and his back-ups stink. Instead Edwards has stunk and Fitzpatrick hasn't. Hamdan is moving up. He's Comfortable with the offense. More than I can say for Edwards. Tight-end. Where did this guy Stupar come from? Almost has to make the team. Defensive end: Release Kelsey and Schobel. Play Bryan, Ellis, Maybin. Def. Tackle. Spencer Johnson WOW. He has been our most dominant d-lineman in the pre-season. McCargo coming on. Bob Sanders looks like a great hire. Linebacker: Take heart Bills fans. We drafted a great player this year. His name is Nick Harris and he made about 8 tackles in the second half. Already the best outside linebacker on the team, Must start for Mitchell or Ellison. Mitchell looks slow. Don't be afraid to put Harris in the middle either and Poz outside. Harris covers a lot of ground and is a big hitter. Isn't that what you look for in a middle linebacker? I still maintain as I have that the Bills will be 5-11. So I intend to focus on the the development of the above players, which could still make this a fun season, while we wait for a QB.
  9. To run the no-huddle you have to quick snap at least every once in a while. Otherwise the D knows they have time to substitute.
  10. Tebow is not an NFL quarterback. probably Bradford
  11. FUNNY another denominator. Neither team has contended in a while.
  12. Love the "Captain Checkdown" line. There is only one stat that counts for quarterbacks- touchdowns. Let's see if Trent can score some.
  13. Whio is Kyle Williams? Does anybody know what he does? MIA most sundays.
  14. Interceptions are meaningless? You must play safety for the Buffalo Bills.
  15. I see in the J-Byrd article that the team had a walk-through this morning and is scheduled for a full practice tonight. Does that constitute a two=a=day at Jauron Country Cub? I hope the players stay hydrated!
  16. I also read somewhere that he was the highest paid player in the league, before Eli signed his deal.
  17. He caught my eye last week. Last night not so much. He is a BIG man.
  18. If Simpson just turned around on that play, he has an end-zone interception instead of a touchdown for the Bears. He looked like a free agent rookie. Also agree that Wendling looked awful, both in coverage and tackling. I hope Byrd can play. Safety is a problem.
  19. I was pleased when the Bills signed him. I thought his speed would add a dimension. Now it looks to me like he lost a step. Meanwhile, Mcintyre looked like a wild bull who might help in goal-line or short yardage if nothing else. Could Rhodes be in trouble?
  20. Thank-you for seeing what was there to see instead of 10-10. I guess we are the only ones sick of field goals.
  21. Very unimpressed with Edwards tonight. He continues to morph into Kelly Holcomb. He does not go through progressions, cannot find a man downfield, and will get Lynch killed by checking down so much. He is not showing he is an NFL QB. Then Fitzpatrick came in and showed how to get the ball out quickly. I know it is just preseason and I would not be overly concerned, but this is a continuation of what we saw from Trent last year and from Losman for many years before that.
  22. He played very well. EWven when he didn't have time, he found receivers for positive yardage. Trent, on the other hand, is becoming Kelly Holcomb, never finding guys downfield and checking down even when he has time. Very unimpressive.
