  1. I posted a couple of times in the offseason that I thought he was lousy last year. That's why I was really praying for Kuechly in the draft. One pick ahead of us Mckillop or Carder should start the opener. Sheppard can't get off blocks at all.
  2. It has been my 30 years of experience as a personal injury lawyer that the people who B word and moan the loudest over frivilous lawsuits are the first to run to a lawyer when misfortune strikes them.
  3. Williams also did not look good in this game.
  4. Obviously, there were several things not to like about the first preseason game. I'd like to focus on some of the good things I saw: 1. Cordy Glenn did not look out of place or too slow. He still needs some more games but I would say he is athletic enough which seemed to be a question. 2. Ron Brooks got his hands on three balls and made a beautiful interception. No.46 made some plays and looked good. Nick Saenz reminds me of Kazoo head Mark Kelso, one of my favorite Bills safeties. 3. Kyle Moore- never heard of him- owned his man on consecutive pass plays in the second half; just pushed his man into the quarterback. I wanna see more of him. 4. John Potter did his thing. Moorman was very effective. What happened on that 22-yarder in the middle of the field? Glorified extra point. 5. I thought Sheppard,McKillop and Tank Carder were all very active. I am a little less worried now about the MLB job. We have young prospects. Of course, all three QB's were pretty ineffective. Supposedly Vince Young picked it up in practice on Monday. Will Fitz continue to throw into double coverage? Stay tuned.
  5. Didn't anyone else expect Fitz to be a little better? New quarterback coach and emphasis on fundamentals and all that? After an offseason of hype, I was hoping for a little more.
  6. He has said the succession plan is to auction the team off to the highest bidder. Wilson to Bills fans,"F@#K YOU"! I hope he's changed his mind since then. I have no reason to believe he has.
  7. If memory serves, he was a late draft pick of theirs as a safety out of Princeton.
  8. Fitz was undeniably a major contributor to the seven game losing streak, but when I heard about the cracked rib, I was willing to attribute the downturn in his play to that, as I'm sure a lot of you are. I am cautiously optimistic about Fitz this season and hope to see the QB from the first half for 16 games. It would help if our defense could stop somebody this year.
  9. Brees will receive 40 million of that money This Year. Let me repeat that- 40 million THIS YEAR!!! Trickle that down.
  10. I got free Sunday ticket last year and a reduced movie package, because I can't get HD- not enough open sky. Called for the same deal this year and was told that since I got it free last year, I couldn't get it again this year. I will probably try again one more time.
  11. Tickets for this game are at least $100 each for nosebleeders. I would love to go but need at least three. Not at that price.
  12. Really? It happens every year at about this time. Show me the baby.
  13. They have Time-Warner in Malta?
  14. A lot of it is Tebow, much loved by the media and Skip Bayless.
  15. I live in New Jersey so I see the Jets a lot. I thought Brian Schottenheimer was an excellent off. coordinator and it was a mistake getting rid of him.Lots of motion.Always put together a strong running game. I think the J's took a step back. I will be interested to see what Sparano does. It's just one game but opening day is big.
  16. T.J. Graham is unsignable.
  17. Who could forget the immortal Hezekiah Braxton?
  18. You completely nailed this one. He has lost the ability to kill the ball inside the ten and for whatever reason, did not even try to knock it out of bounds, which seems easier.
  19. But VY may only be here for one year. That factors in too.
  20. Why do you say that he made most of the draft day decisions? The Bolts always had strong leadership: first John Butler, followed by A.J. Smith. Accounts vary as to how much power Nix had, as I recall. I thought he was just a superscout?
  21. Since Young can function in a wildcat setup, I don't see Brad Smith being around much longer, unless they decide to let Thiggie go.
  22. You should be worried. This was not addressed in the offseason and never is. My hope is that Bradham and Carder can help the situation. Middle linebacker is a black hole right now.
  23. Chris Kelsey had a pretty good year last year and I believe he will be a starter this year. I really don't think we should cut him just to free up his number.
