Because RussBrandon never hired a coach or drafted anyone until 10 days ago. He is not responsible for the Bills difficulties prior to that time. Saying he had his 'fingerprints' all over is B.S. He got tired of losing and now is trying to educate himself about scouting. I'm down with that. If I was in his position, I'd be there too.

A guy I would like to single out is Zac Ertz of Stanford, who reminds me an awful lot of Jason Whitten. Alec Ogletree might make an interesting pick for our Bills. Jawan Jamison of Rutgers is a nice shifty little back for the later rounds.

How much attention would this guy be getting if we HADN'T just hired his head coach? Having said that, I would grab him in the third round. In the first two rounds, thewre are much better prospects out there.

The fact that he didn't fess up when caught is particularly annoying. But I fail to see how it affects his ability to play linebacker in the NFL. it's not like he was caught with an ounce of Bolivian marching powder or was slamming dog's heads against trees.

I would not necessarily lump Dysert and Nassib together as I think Dysert is considerably more athletic. But I do agree that Manuel is a physical freak in the Griffin- Kaepernick mold.

And the last GM was A.J. Smith who worked for the Bills. Somebody in S.D. likes western New York.

I agree with the OP 1oo%. 1.Pettine was a good hire. Good track record. 2. Hackett- no experience but can implement Marrone's offense. 3.O'neill- never been a full position coach in the NFL. Special teams coach- record says he's a hack. All other positional coaches- unimpressive. I will say this. EVERY coach seems to hire people from their past rather than looking at the best candidate. No reason to TRUST this team as they have been getting it wrong for 13 years. HoweverI will drink the Kool-aid and shut up.

The Ohio State game is not a highlight reel. It is every throw against a quality opponent. Most throws right on the money and dropped. didn't see too many passes sail either.

Someone mentioned this kid a week ago and I really like him. He reminds of a certain no. 12 who played for the Bills. Time to find the next Jimbo. I was hoping to nab him in the second round and take Ogletree or Jones from Georgia in the first. But if he lights up the Senior Bowl, watch out!

Check out Zac Dysert who just got added to the Senior Bowl. He's as good as any of these guys, better than most.

Wait a minute... Geno is horrible? 71% completions. 4200 yards. 42 touchdowns. 6 interceptions. Does not sound horrible to me. I am very impressed with him. The only QB I would consider taking at eight.
