  1. This is the guy that makes the most sense IMHO. Did a great job last night and now we have to wait to interview him. Anyone know if we can at least ask his agent if he is interested? Bears and Jets also sniffing around.
  2. We came to the same conclusion over here. Kubiak's the logical guy and a definite upgrade over Marrone, may a special place be reserved for him in the seventh circle of hell.
  3. Get Frank Reich over here. What a great job he did Saturday night.
  4. There already. I think the design of the running plays stink.
  5. Unquestionably the dumbest thread in weeks. They have owned the team for a couple of months, they greaatly overpaid for a team in a small market and you see evidence that they don't care about winning? give it a chance!
  6. This is the best Bills team in ten years. Hamstrung by crappy quarterbacking, they will finish 8-8, the best record in 10 years. Progress is being made; the roster is better. We could be in contention next year with the right QB. I don't want to start over again with a new coach and staff. I like Whaley. Bring everybody back, get a QB and let's go!
  7. Thought I would take this opportunity to mention two tremendous blocks Watkins threw in the Denver game. The effort is there. The kid is a good one. He gives great effort which can be a problem at this position.
  8. That was a very cogent and well-reasoned analysis. And a bunch of pretty idiotic comments. Hackett is seriously holding this team back. we should be 50% percent run pass on first down which might help us run the ball better.
  9. I and my two sons will be there, hoping for the best in what has been a difficult environment. GO BILLS!
  10. Truth is that however good this matchup looks on paper, the Bills never play well in this venue. They consistently lose here and rarely play well. Add in the fact I'm going and we are cursed! Doomed!
  11. It was an empty 300 yards that EJ has never managed in his career. Do you think EJ makes the completion to Goodwin? Or the last throw to Sammy? Orton played a great game with no running game to speak of. He still made big throws.
  12. I agree. The rest of the team is good enough. The quarterback is not good enough. Inaccurate. Doesn't see the whole field. Can't read defenses. We haven't had a good QB since Flutie. I would give him one more half. Then turn to Orton.
  13. Sorry to go negative but isn't it time for Hackett to trust EJ a little bit by letting him throw on first down every once in a while instead of running the read option on every single first down? The conservative play-calling will not win too many of these games this year. First down is the easiest down to pass on. Unleash EJ!
  14. The Bills are a heaping pile of cow dung. This is going to be really ugly.
  15. You mean when Todd Collins and Billy Joe Hobert were our quarterbacks?
  16. Hard for a Bills fan to pick a side in this dispute.
  17. Why can't you Canadian people spell 'defense'?
  18. I believe that in this case, the guy's fame worked against him. He is certainly good enough to be somebody's third stringer. But no team wanted to put up with the circus environment in exchange for that.
  19. I'll take it! And win a superbowl too.
  20. He WAS the best player in the draft. Now let's do it on the field.
  21. Not a big Chandler fan anymore. I do like Mike Caussin though. Good H-Back. Anyone who feels the sky is falling because Brandon Kaufman was released should get a grip. I have a good feeling about this team.
  22. There has been criticism of Peter King from time to time here as there is of all media members. But I thought he wrote a great epitaph for Ralph. King, with some ties to the Bills in the past (local?) gets it. I have always considered the Bills more than a sports team. Having left buffalo in 1978, after having season tickets for ten years, the Bills were more than like a public trust. They were Buffalo. As for Ralph, I still haven't forgiven him for firing Bill Polian. My epitaph: Ralph Wilson: He was a lousy owner, but at least he kept the team in buffalo!
  23. Since when is a guy with speed in the 4.4 range a 'possession' receiver? And I would put Woods in that category either. It's just that our passing game was so dysfuntional last year, we couldn't take advantage of all his ability.
