  1. Assuming we are able to keep Lynn as O.C. and are covered on the offensive side, we need a head coach to fix the defense. We know that Pettine never really had a chance in Cleveland. He did good things here. Worth a shot?
  2. LOL A fast riser. What it means about Taylor is he doesn't get to play this week. Also likely means he doesn't stay absent renegotiated contract.
  3. Without offering excuses, everyone does understand that Carp's misses were into the wind while the other guy was kicking IWITH the wind? Usually a pretty strong wind in Orchard Park this time of year. But I'm for getting rid of him too not just based on this game only.
  4. Watching the Miami game, I couldn't help think that the problems with Buffalo's defense is systemic. Miami continually ran the ball wide and there wasn't ANYONE there. Rex is always talking about setting the edge but we don't even have an outside linebacker there in position to do that. His defensive system is outdated and ineffective. He telegraphs his blitzes so the opposing QB can check to a different play or adjust his protection. Maybe that's why he can't beat an experienced quarterback.
  5. It is surprising because Rex stinks, everybody knows it, and people look for reasons to keep him. Not sure why. Took a good defense and ruined it. Team plays with no discipline. Has a mediocre defensive staff, including you know who. I didn't even think he deserved a second season, but i understood it. Now people want to give him a third year? and expect different results? Don't get it.
  6. Smith did cross my mind as someone who won immediately and maybe didn't deserve the axe. Would do a better job than current group.
  7. I keep thinking about Roethlisberger going one pick before us, Patrick Willis going one pick before us. So... HELL YES, draft position matters! I kind of have my heart set on a first round QB this year. So the higher the pick, the better.
  8. I've seen enough. The guy stinks. Every week it's, "this is the week". He is not suddenly going to get "it"; His best game of the year was a loss when he still couldn't get it done at the end. Get rid of him and start over. The guy is not a "game manager", he is a "ball holder". Sorta Carmelo Anthony of the NFL.
  9. Bad season for Hughes. One of the big reasons for last few losses, no pass rush. I thought he was better than this.Lorasz has slowed down too,
  10. Watch out where the huskies go!
  11. I've been thinking the same thing. The designed running plays for Tyrod have been very effective. Why put a running back there with no option to throw?
  12. 10 for 26, 89 yards after the first quarter.
  13. Don't like the way Brown worded it. "Trainers pulled him out" does not sound like a maintenance day for Sammy. Incidentally, anybody notice that the Clippers gave Blake Griffin a maintenance day and sat him against the Nets. Game went to two overtimes, Paul and Jordan played 45 minutes each, and they lost. Well...that backfired.
  14. PLAYOFFS!?... PLAYOFFS?
  15. Without stating the obvious, what Mr. kaepernick is doing is protected by the first amendment and any effort by the league to curtail it would lead to more litigation up to the supreme court which they would probably lose. Tough to blame the league for this one. Commercials on the other hand...
  16. A nickelback should be able to cover a tight end one on one. I'm beginning to think this Gronkowski is some kind of freakish athlete.
  17. Kuyper just rated Trubisky as the 15th best prospect in the draft. Lots of games left so watch and make your own judgment.
  18. Tyrod is not good enough. That is painfully obvious. How many times has he gone back to pass this season and not thrown it? You draft a guy every year until you find the next Jim Kelly.
  19. Supposed to be 80 degrees on Sunday. Maybe it'll help Shady get loose? Sounds like a game time decision. Woods too.
  20. Probably said that our offense usually can't get a first down in the third quarter so it's up to us. And the fourth down stop is what got the offense going.
  21. Point well made. You could almost argue that it was worth losing to lose Roman. Kinda hated his play calling.
  22. Generally agree with the last statement . But I think I would draw the line at a Trump rally.
  23. Everyone going: be loud and proud!
