  1. Just read this guy graduated Clemson in December, in 3 and 1/2 years? Grew up in a Habitat for Humanity house and now volunteers with them. Is this guy for real?
  2. And.... the mediocrity continues...
  3. Carruch is reporting that BOTH sides have moved on. I think Bills will look to renegotiate him. If Tyrod wants to stay or leave, that will be up to him.
  4. Wow. That would be a hell of a hire. Wade would lend a certain gravitas to Lynn's staff. All this talk of going to a 4-3 which I agree would suit our defensive line talent. Can anyone name one true 4-3 outside linebacker on out roster? Or a 4-3 middle linebacker for that matter? One of the Browns? Ha. Maybe Ragland.
  5. Sigh. Why do I bother? Thanks Yolo. I see the same thing.
  6. I feel like this guy is the 800 lb. gorilla in the room. All this talk of tanking. For what? We're not doing it to get a better offensive tackle. It has to be to address the QB situation. To me, Watson has to be a serious consideration. Trubiskey is unlikely to be there when we pick. I have liked Watson for a year. To me, he has many of the same qualities I liked about Prescott, only he's better! The calmness in the pocket while he surveys the field, coupled with Tyrod athleticism, but bigger. Is he a finished product? Not by any means. But there just aren't that many Andrew Luck's around. I would like to draft him in the first and even play him. Let us just say, like the Emperor to Annakin, "I will be watching his post-season with great interest"! Serious comments are invited. Not the "No Thanks" Mr. Negativity posts.
  7. I assume most fans grew up in WNY and enjoyed a winning team at some point in their childhood. I was 10 when the Bills won the '65 AFL Title and been a fan since. The better question is "why is anyone a Bills fan since 2000? It's a family.
  8. The Bills aren't patient with their coaches? Kind of a laugh. I thought the Bills were patient with Rex. I would have canned him after one year. Completely mucked up our defense. The man was a terrible coach. I hate these cliched narratives.
  9. Don't disagree with most of what you said. Hate the negativity, especially surrounding Whaley who I feel has had less of a say about the last two coaches than Russ Brandon had. But at this point, I'm done feeling good about 8-8 or 7-9 seasons. After 17 years, it's playoffs or bust
  10. Loved the kid bouncing up and down with his knees on his sister's face!
  11. Not sure if george patton would be a successful coach in 2016. A little too egomaniacal. Bu definitely a leader of men.
  12. This. There were times this year that Hughes took such bone-headed penalties, that he was demanding to be lifted from the game and benched for a while and i mean immediately. Bradham too, before him. Nothing.
  13. I don't think anyone wants to just dump Tyrod with nobody there to replace him. But that is contingent on him renegotiating down to a more team friendly contract. I consider him a bridge until we find the next Kelly (please god ). I am not paying him 30 million next year to hold the ball and lead the league in sacks.
  14. A cogent analysis of Tyrod. Good job!
  15. I saw a mock draft that had three QB's going in the first five picks! The kid from Notre dame first. Would love to see Watson fall to us in the first. What don't you like about him? He appears to have that same poise in the pocket that Prescott has.
  16. Yeah that is pretty much the comment analysis by the geniuses here. Why does someone have to be thrown under the bus? To appease the media/fans.
  17. We have a football czar. he is the general manager Doug Whaley. IMHO, he has made the following mistakes: 1.Ceding too much draft control to Rex. I.e. he kept taking Clemson guys. Terrible crime to try to work with your coach. Didn't work out. Jury still out on the Ragland pick, but it did cost us a shot at Prescott. 2. Overpaying to keep certain guys (happy). McCoy, Taylor and Dareus all come under this category. 3. Not finding us a good QB. Not sure if it was him or Nix but EJ was a bad pick in a weak QB draft. Cardale was a bad pick period. Tyrod was the best QB we've seen around here in a while but definitely NOT the answer. So the search begins anew. He is NOT responsible for the Rex hiring. he was supposedly for Hue Jackson. So he has never picked the Bills coach. Marrone not him either but marrone wasn't a bad coach. He was just an a$$hole. The GM should be at the top of the football operation. Whaley has had to share power. On the way, he and Nix upgraded the scouting dep'tmt and gave us one of the top pro personnel dep'tmts. I really feel like we are the right coach and QB from being in contention.
  18. Would really like to see Gillislee given a shot to return kicks. Noticed him on kickoffs in the Miami game. No opportunities though.
  19. Don't have a problem with Mike Smith, or Coughlin, or even Schwartzy. Lynn doesn't excite me. the guy spent the whole season in the booth. How is that training to be a H.C. Would like to see him stay on as O.C. though.
  20. Hey he's 11 years younger than the guy everybody had us hiring a week ago.
  21. This is a good thing. I trust Whaley more than Russ or the Pegulas to pick a true professional coach.
  22. How many times has he turned us down already? I would never offer him the job again (unless he wants it)
  23. REx gets fired a week early after announcing that Tyrod would start. The two seem related. Whaley went right to Pegula and said let's get rid of him now so we don't expose Tyrod to injury. Makes sense. Whaley wins this one.
  24. Tenth ranked defense in the league is horrible?
