The interesting stat in the link is that he dropped back to pass over 100 times this season and didn't throw it. That right thar is the problem! Either he can't see the whole field or he doesn't trust what he sees.

I just watched his highlight package. I see a guy who thrived in a gimmicky offense and in a league that plays no pass defense. I would take him in the second, not the first.

Is he an outside LB? Because I'm pretty sure Ragland gets first shot in the middle. Zach, I'm pretty confident , can play on the outside effectively.

I think about AVP a lot. I loved that season he stepped in at the last minute as OC and did a very credible job. By the end of the year (2009?) we had the best running game in the league. Green Bay will block him from interviewing. he should get out of there.

Of course a coach should have control of his 53 man roster. That's a no-brainer. The GM has control of the 80 in the off-season. Always been a defender of Sullivan but he has been truly a buzzkill lately. Whaley has had more bad ink lately than Hillary had. is Putin a Pats fan?

I was disappointed to see the Pegulas sitting in on the interviews. Expected Whaley to do them one-on-one and when he had his guy, second interview, this time with the Pegulas. Let the GM RUN THE SHOW! What does "heading up the search " mean? It should mean he finally gets the chance to hire"his" guy. Don't know if Lynn will be good or not. He did do a good job this year with the offense and play calling was not terrible. Would like to see what changes he would make in the passing game as I think the routes run by the receivers, basically 10 yard outs, are too simple. The fact that he seemingly brings Bradley along is a definite plus.

I agree that safety became a glaring issue after Williams went down. On the other hand, can't blame this for runners being able to turn the corner without opposition whenever they wanted. I've always thought that you can scheme run defense. Rex couldn't.

I've always respected Carucci as a senior member of the Bills journalist community. But lately, in this age of twitter, he seems to be pulling news stories out of his tuchis.
