Robert Royal - 25 receptions 248 yards 3 TD's Micheal Gaines- 25 receptions 219 yards 2 TD's So we got 50 rec roughly 500 yards and 5 TD's out of our TE position last season. Sure blocking was an issue, but you cant really complain about the numbers they put up. Obviously we would all love to have this production coming from one player but I'll take it. Most of you will point out micheal gaines is now gone but we did get Fine. He is supposed to be the "best all-around tight end in the draft" according to the bills so lets see what happens. Think about 1st and goal with Evans and Hardy out wide, Fine split out with Roscoe in the slot. Marshawn in the backfield. .....thats two big targets to worry about plus evans. Then you got roscoe runnin around underneath everything. So once you have them covered Lynch will have a easy time strollin in for the score. I know waaaay to early for dreaming but seriously I think will be a lot better then people think. Nobody is talking about lynch and now we have some people that can clear things out for him, hes gonna have a big year.

for me, as long as he can open things up for lee evans and in the long run(pun intended) marshawn lynch, I would be very happy with that alone.

LOL you just described my re-occurring dream. We'll see how he turns out. I think some people will change their minds when they see these sasqwatchs' come to the line of scrimmage.

Hey guys this is my first post so hope its a good one.... I have been reading the recent posts on Walker and some think he was a mistake. Well I'm not so sure about that. While the Oakland Raiders did Have probably the worst o-line in the league, it was not due to the talent on the line which some may believe. Art Shell implemented blocking schemes that he used when he played. Shell shied away from the zone blocking schemes widely used by teams today, because of his unfamiliarity with the scheme. This lead to the faster d-lines out there to blow by the Raider o-line. Sure Walker gave up nearly 11 sacks, But Gallery gave up 10.5 and Sims gave up 8.5(I think). So my point is The WHOLE line was getting blown up, this is a direct result of a bad scheme and not bad talent. Also factor this in: The Raiders were on their 3rd o-line coach in 3 years(now 4th in 4 years). Thats not too good for stability on an offensive line. I'm willing to wait and see what walker pans out to be, he may just be exactly what we are looking for.
