  1. if Miami wanted to move him out of the division the next few years, they should lift the tag - which would invite more interest.. keeping the tag on him gives him one suitor - us.. unless another GM jumps in and calls their bluff
  2. if Miami lifts the tag, it would be negligent if his agent didn't wait for more interest.. but man, do i hope they jump on whatever we offer
  3. not so sure.. this changes everything. Clay's gonna sit back and wait for the phone to stop ringin
  4. we released Chandler, because Roman will be able to seal the edge just as easily with Felton.. Clay lined up as H-back threatens both the combo from DE to LB in the run, and attracts the SS's attention in the pass - a real sweet luxury to have.. i don't know if the receiving TE FA from Cards is an upgrade over either Gragg or Gray.. or if any could bring what Clay can.. but i like the looks of Walford to bring the same dynamic
  5. we obviously want Clay - but i think Clive Walford - projected as a 2nd rounder - can be another great NFL TE from the U.. so even if Clay goes elsewhere, there's that.. consider this as a PSA to keep fans from climbing out on the ledge when Fins drop the tag and the feeding frenzy on Clay begins
  6. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CB8QtwIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DiwTVQmQih5c&ei=MhACVfHxBMGqgwSSt4PgDg&usg=AFQjCNGpR_-5E4z7LT3DsWBJl4QWxjFS6A&bvm=bv.88198703,d.eXY i have to disagree with many here.. unless the Raven coaches have changed his game, this highlight compilation of his VT days shows a gifted athlete who's constantly looking to run first. i don't see one pass where he actually sets up and throws the ball without a lot of wasted movement. if he's been coached to try to execute his throws first, he may have eliminated some of the juke and jive crap in the pocket. honestly, ive never seen him play - not in college or the pros - so i can only go on what i see there.. and if he stil plays the same way, EJ is already a more settled pocket QB - if that's what Roman wants.. hey - roll the dice, but i wouldn't get too excited about this.
  7. i got a feeling that Roman got a better blocking TE when we signed the FB Felton, and the intends on getting better receiving production from either Clay, Gragg, or Gray
  8. i hate to admit it, but when Harvin's name popped up - Farve came to mind. but unlike the OP, i have refills..
  9. hold on.. Terry's on his way into OBD, and he looks pissed..
  10. hey.. lighten up Bills fans! we've got professional coaches for all three facets of the game.. an above average roster.. a contemporary FO.. and owners who bought the team to enjoy watching it win! they've got their work to do, and right now it's all about player personnel.. they've already gotten alot done.. and there's time and room for more before the draft.. this is cool beans, man! don't let some malcontent distract you from the fun
  11. kiko's wheels are problematic.. his agility makes him valuable.. another severe knee injury could make him just another LB with great football sense who can't catch up to the play.. hoping that doesn't happen to the kid, but it's a reality
  12. that's ok with me.. i wouldn't mind shoring things up with Browner, though
  13. even weasely comments like that can't ruin this..
  14. lol - i was trying to remember his name, this afternoon! thanks!
  15. i've been a fan since the Kemp days, and watched the AFL and NFL evolve into the monolithic business it is now.. and this is the first time since the Jones and Snyders began throwing their money and weight around, that i've felt like my team could and would compete for coaches and players. a guy could get used to this... thanks, Pegula family.. and go Bills
  16. yep - Miami converted him from fullback.. a 255 receiver who can bang would be a nice tool in Roman toolbox edit - but that whole transition thing concerns me
