Mac Jones - Coming to the NFL I think Jones is the steal of the draft. A few quotes: “Jones became so confident in Alabama’s offense while running the scout team that he again took control of his own situation. During a run-heavy period against the first-team defense, which was stacking the line to prepare for a future opponent, Jones decided to take advantage. Rather than running the plays off the coaches’ cards, Jones checked the routes and protections at the line, and he beat the defense for deep ball after deep ball. The scout team let the starters hear it, too, cheering and dancing toward the sideline. The defense complained to Saban. Saban barked at Jones. Jones told Saban if he didn’t like it to tell his defense to stop it. “Competitive as hell. He’s not afraid to go out there and ruffle feathers,” Key said. “That was a sign early that he has the football IQ, instincts and the ability to do those things. He also had the respect for coach Saban, but at the same time the no-fear aspect of it.” During Covid lockdown... ”He bought a throwing net for his apartment. Jones set it up in his living room, which was the size of a one-car garage, took a bag of 40 balls outside, opened the windows and fired pass after pass. When he was allowed back at the football facility, he’d head there every night until 11 p.m. to set up targets and throw more balls. He taught the offense to his girlfriend, so she could call out plays and he could process the reads and any checks at the line. He usually woke up by 5:30 a.m. to watch film at the facility, especially Sunday mornings when he knew he’d have the building to himself. Jones meticulously took notes of every game of his Alabama career, including those he didn’t play, using a pen with six colors – red ink for the red zone, green ink for the green area, other colors for third downs, backed-up situations and so on. He filled up a notebook for each opponent and neatly labeled everything in order to find specific pages as quickly as possible. It’s been said Jones has a photographic memory, so if a past situation presented itself on the field in real time, he wanted to be ready to pounce.”

Don't like it, but think they'll go Anthony Schwartz.

Anonymous Dolphins players: not sold on Tua

Bills fan/Tua defender. Amazon Next Gen Stats says the 2 of the top 3 worst WR's in separation this season were...Devante Parker and Mike Gesicki. Give the man a few decent players to throw to before judging him. -

I follow him and its definitely a hack. All he ever posts are Bible verses and motivational quotes. Not to mention, he uses proper grammar. -
Just wanted to pass this along... A close friend of mine attended the University of Alabama coach's clinic this past week. In one of the lectures, Bama's strength and conditioning coach, Scott Cochrane (who runs an EXTREMELY tight ship), remarked that the 3 hardest workers he's had in his career were Julio Jones (Falcons), Javier Arenas (Chiefs), and ...... Marcell Dareus.

Comparing Dre Kirkpatrick and Janoris Jenkins off the field behavior is like comparing someone who is distantly related to a murderer to Charles Manson. Kirkpatrick was never once suspended nor in Saban's "dog house" in his 3 years at Bama. On the other hand, google Jenkins and do some searching. You'll find some interesting stuff.

As was mentioned, Dexter is a great show. I'm still loyal to it, but it has gone down hill from the first few seasons, just like 24 did. Here's my opinion on Dexter. Season 1 - A ... Awesome concept for a show that was so original to me. Season 2 - A+ ... The story took a huge leap that was downright intriguing. Season 3 - C- ... The idea seemed interesting but turned out boring. Season 4 - B+ ... John Lithgow and the finale made this season worthwhile. Season 5 - D+ ... Nothing new was really added to the storyline. -

Agree. On a side note, Gail's apartment decor was visually stunning. That's one of the reasons I love the show. The details in the camera shots (light/dark, background objects, etc.) are done perfectly. -

Marcell Dareus Adrian Clayborn Andy Dalton -
As a Bama fan, I've seen everyone of his games, and I would consider him top 15 material, but not top 3 material. Comparing him to the likes of Glenn Dorsey and Suh in college, it isn't even close. To Marcell's credit, he has been hobbled by an ankle in jury all season and missed the first 2 games (suspension), but played outstanding in the bowl game. This is also the first year he has been a full time starter, so I don't know if Chan wants him since he's not big on one year wonders (which would also rule out Fairly). The Bills need to trade down, plain and simple.

Being healthy for the first time all year, Dareus had 3 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 sack, and 3 qb hurries, all while being double-teamed. Michigan St. had -48 yards rushing, and he played a big role in that. He looked like a top 3 pick. When it comes to Newton, if you want to see how good he is, notice how many of his completions are to wide open receivers. His coach (Malzahn) deserves a lot of the credit Newton is getting in terms of his ability as a passer.
