  7. Today Posted By: Chris Brown | Time: 4:39 PM ET | Link BRADY REACTION: A couple of Bills players and head coach Dick Jauron were asked how the season-ending injury to Tom Brady affects the state of the AFC East. Here were their responses. Dick Jauron “It’s unfortunate. He is a great football player, and if they’ve lost him then it’s a big loss. But they’ve lost a big star at that position once before and that’s where Tom Brady came from. I’m sure that they’ll keep playing because they are very good around him. He’s been a very special player and hopefully it’s not as serious as they’re talking about. You never want that to happen.” Trent Edwards “You never want to see that happen to a guy. I’m obviously one of the biggest Tom Brady fans. I’d say Tom Brady and Brett Favre are my two favorite quarterbacks and any time you have a chance to watch them live play or play against them, you want to do that. And unfortunately, it’s looking like, I don’t know what the reports are saying, that we’re not going to be playing against him this year. I would rather have him in there, honestly. I’d rather beat a team when they have all of their best players on the field at all times and I know the Patriots style, that they’re good at coming back from injury and I’m sure they’re still going to make a run at it, so I’m not sure it shifts it at all.” Jabari Greer “I think it always has been wide-open. I think that we’ve taken that approach that no matter who’s playing as we have an opportunity to win.”

  9. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- John Clayton of ESPN reports that Jason Peters is not close to ending his holdout and hasn't talked to the Bills for a month. Peters has three years remaining on his contract, but isn't happy with his $3.5 million salary. Once the holdout extends into the season, Peters will be fined $15,000 per day and forfeit his weekly game checks, so the money is going to add up in a hurry
  10. He is a G. Here is what i could find. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/foo...yers/4738.html Brandon Rodd SI Grade3.01GRADING SYSTEM Position: G Class: Sr School: Arizona State Conference: Pac-10 Ht., Wt.: 6-3.5, 302 40 Time: 5.28 BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter at the left tackle and left guard spots. POSITIVES: Hard-working small-area college tackle who projects to guard in the NFL. Blocks with good knee-bend, keeps his feet moving throughout the action, and quick in all aspects of the game. Stays with the action, makes good use of angles, and seals defenders from the play. Fights with his hands and works to hit as many people as possible. NEGATIVES: Lacks footwork and range and struggles to adjust. Must improve the strength of his base. ANALYSIS: Rodd was an adequate college blocker who showed improvement in his game the past two seasons. He'll have a chance at the next level if he improves his run-blocking strength. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
  11. "Buffalo is the team to beat," said Meriweather, trying to deflect the attention on his team while making a case for the Bills, who went 7-9 last season, which was good for second in an otherwise hapless division that also included the Dolphins (1-15) and Jets (4-12).
  12. Eagle Eye will be good. Righteous Kill will be must see but prolly pretty bad Burn After Reading Trailer looks grat cant wait should be a great Movie Month.
  13. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jason Jefferson-DL-FalconsAug. 31 - 4:41 pm et Falcons claimed DT Jason Jefferson off waivers from the Bills and released DT Tim Anderson. Jefferson gives them more of a pocket pusher than Anderson would have. Related: Tim Anderson http://rotoworld.com/content/Home_NFL.aspx

  20. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0...on-finale.html Edwards, Losman won't play exhibition finale August 28, 2008 4:33 PM Posted by ESPN.com's Tim Graham Barring a change of plans, the Buffalo Bills intend to keep both quarterbacks Trent Edwards and J.P. Losman on the sidelines for their Thursday night exhibition season finale against the Detroit Lions. Third-stringer Gibran Hamdan is expected to start at quarterback and play the entire game, a league source told ESPN.com. Edwards is nursing a deep right quadriceps bruise suffered in a collision with running back Marshawn Lynch during a recent practice. Losman, Edwards' primary backup, also is expected to be sidelined as he recovers from a sore thumb. Edwards and Lynch are being held out just as a precaution as the Bills prepare for their Sept. 7 regular season home opener against the Seattle Seahawks
