Housh speculation finally over.
nichebiche replied to Buffalo Billy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's great, but since you are on the world wide interweb like the rest of us, I challenge you to replicate that info from anywhere and provide us with a link. You can bet schefter would have broken that story by now, before this "sportsnet" for sure. -

I'm thinking it said that the vikings will not sign tj and he misread, cause anything I've seen says they aren't interested. -
Don't tell Lee Evans or Eric Moulds you said that

Worried what bills do w/out developmental QB?
nichebiche replied to nichebiche's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The point is that these guys area a dime a dozen, so no need to worry, very little risk of some other team swooping in to steal him away. I do think the Bills will sign him to the practice squad, since he does possess all the physical tools and needs some time to adjust to the NFL game. -

Chargers waive Crompton, Giants waive Bomar, Niners waive Jarrett Brown, Patriots waive Zac Robinson. if you fear losing Levi Brown now that he's been cut, all these same developmental types are available. in other words, don't sweat it. Levi will be around to take his rightful place on the practice squad on Sunday, and if not, one of these guys will. -
good thing it happened in the middle of June. expect a full recovery to start the season.

i agree that Russell has the potential to become an excellent LT.

Round 6, Pick #178: DE/OLB Arthur Moats - James Madison
nichebiche replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fwiw, I heard him on Sirius NFL Radio and Moats stated that there were 3-4 defenses interested in him as an ILB prospect. -
Round 1, Pick #9: CJ Spiller RB Clemson

Most dynamic player in the draft. How many people would have killed to take Adrian Peterson 4 years ago? -
How does the NFL.com stream work?

and how is dressing in a Kobe Bryant jersey a bad thing? are you referring to the old rape charge in Colorado many years ago that was proven false? -
TBD Mock Draft trade-up opportunity
nichebiche replied to Ramius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
his height is 6'2.5" as measured at the combine -- not a question. arm strength is not JaMarcus Russell-like, but you'd be hard-pressed to convince anyone that has actually seen him play that his arm strength is questionable. -
TBD Mock Draft trade-up opportunity

if i am GM, i am perfectly happy to wait to get the best available OT or Clausen at #9 without having to sell the ranch. if the best people can come up with to knock Clausen is their 2nd-hand reports of his questionable attitude, then i feel good about him as a franchise QB if he is their selection. -
you also realize that Seattle has a 2nd #1 pick right behind the Bills at #14, don't you?

let's look at the Bills lack of moves from a different perspective: when you have a leaky roof, how should you spend your money -- to fix the roof or buy a new car? if your furnace is broken, do you replace it with a new one or spend your money on a new flat-screen TV? if your foundation is crumbling, do you reinforce it or go on a trip to Vegas? all of the moves everyone is referring to are the type you can afford to make because the rest of the team is not broken. when your team does not have a QB, has problems on the OLine and has trouble rushing the passer and stopping the run, how does it make sense to use your assets on a WR?

you "prove" it by providing a source this info is coming from -- you know, maybe a credible person who said it, perhaps a link.

so tell me again, what have the Patriots done to improve their team? while they are great players, it's not like these teams are getting anything close to model citizens. Holmes is already suspended for 4 games, and one more failed drug test away from missing a full year -- not to mention his other off-field troubles. Marshall might improve his attitude with a different team, but he has already proven to be a royal pain in the rear at the drop of a hat. buyer beware....

no, it's not, so don't go around saying that it is until you can prove it.

. 25-30 years ago when I was a kid, I would play sick from school so I could stay home to watch the draft. Started at 7 or 8am on a Tuesday, went all night long until all 12 rounds were done, maybe some of the later rounds finished up the next day. What do you want from me, I was a kid??? Those were the good ol' days. Now I can't even take time off from work and have to carve out 2 nights and 1 day of my FREE TIME. Almost makes me not want to watch now....

I should ask for McShay's job. I made the same call as my first thought regarding the McNabb in one of those threads. I guess the only thing that separates the 2 of us is my good looks.

Two OLE MISS and TEXAS combos that are can't miss

you can have Jevan Snead, wouldn't mind seeing the Bills get any of the others -
that scenario seems perfectly plausible. however, i can now see Clausen dropping if the Browns don't take him. the Bills could still grab him at #14, either a LT like Brown, Ducasse or Saffold OR their NT in Cody at #41, then fill the other hole at #60 with either Veldheer or Cam Thomas.
-
almost a given that Skins take a LT to protect McNabb. very good chance Clausen will be there for the Bills at #9, although the Browns could be a player for him. i believe Clausen can become the QB this franchise has needed for a long time. hell, they could probably trade down a few spots and still get him, while snatching up an extra pick in the 2nd or 3rd.

So what you have been trying to do with this post is introduce yourself to the world as a comspiracy theorist, with the thought that this guy stands to benefit when officials have to make split second decisions during the middle of games, that the prevailing thoughts running through their minds is that the next chance they have to make a pivotal call they will side with their old chum. Yeah, I'm sure that is how it will go.
