  1. Well now you got me doing it.
  2. The stadium sells Aquafina water, those bottles are all plastic. Plastic bottles are not picked up by metal detectors. You may be wearing bulky clothing with pockets on the inside of the jacket. 😉
  3. I looked it up, here's the list if anyone wants to check it out. The Bills have only had one two players make the list since 1972. National Football League Comeback Player of the Year Award - Wikipedia
  4. We went OTA and streaming services several months ago. I’m amazed that in addition to the Syracuse stations, I can pick up a couple from Utica and Watertown.
  5. According to Google Maps, it's about 40 miles between both cities. So assuming she gets at least 20mpg, that would be about 4 gallons. Gas Buddy is showing a gallon in the Stow area is under $3/gallon. So she would only need about $12 out of that $100 for her travel.
  6. Were you at the Thompson Road location? That's where I was, a contractor for IT with Inacom, doing hardware support. I think my desk was in Bld 18A, but I did support all over campus.
  7. I was in IT at the time (hardware support) and had one guy ask me what I thought. Told him there shouldn't be any issues, but if he was worried, there were some things he could do. When you see a good sale on canned goods, like 10 for $10, and you would normally buy 10, buy 20. Get print outs of all your financials showing what you have a day or two before then end of the year. Take out a couple hundred dollars to have on hand. Nothing drastic, like you'd see some people doing, but just being cautious.
  8. Someone at NFL Network forgot to setup the VCR's before leaving last Friday for the holiday.
  9. With my siblings, about 20-30 years ago I told them I wasn’t buying them birthday presents anymore and did not want any for myself from them, mainly because two of them had birthdays in March and the other two in May, and I was a poor, just out of college, worker. Getting hit with four birthdays in two months was just too much.
  10. With my immediately family, I stick to a budget for each of them. For the wife, she gets whatever I see that I know she will like. I probably spend as much on her as I do my family combined. I once dated a girl years ago that came from a poor family. It was interesting the one Christmas I spent with them, seeing the gifts they would give each other. I had bought her a new radio for her car, it currently only had AM/FM. The one I got her was on the low end, can't remember if it had a cassette or CD built in, I only paid around $60 for it, and it was the most expensive gift that anyone got there that year.
  11. Ames had a commercial with a nutcracker, my family would always find amusing. Haven't found it online anywhere.
  12. Mafia Approved! Top Ranked Bills Backer Bars in the Capital Regio (wgna.com) #5 Ravenswood, Clifton Park Ravenswood in Clifton Park has been a top spot for fans of the Bills to gather on game day! With over 15 Flat Screen televisions and awesome food, it's no wonder why it is a Bills Backers favorite! @Gugny @Albany,n.y. any ideas?
  13. I don't know why you're calling me out. I'm not claiming to know which coach it was. I just found a list of the coaches the Bills listed on their website that year.

  15. Wrong thread for complaints, you want this one... This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL - The Stadium Wall - Two Bills Drive
  16. My Hooters story. One day years ago (when Syracuse still had a Hooters in the mall) I was in the mood for some breaded wings and went there to place a to-go order, 50 wings. They said it would be about 30 minutes so I went and did some shopping. Come back and they can't find any record of my order. Eventually they figured out that order system they use, the paper on a wire into the kitchen method, my order paper fell onto the floor and no one noticed. The manager added an extra 25 wings onto my order and any drinks I wanted at the bar while I waited. Worth it. I had wings for days.
  17. I prefer a bigger wing. Breading, it depends on if I'm in the mood for it. Side story, back in the late 1980's, after spent a semester in WNY at college where I first found out about wings, I came home to find my local sub shop advertising they had wings. Excitedly I ordered. What did I get? Full size drum sticks and wings. Never ordered wings from them again.
  18. If you can get Channel 2 out of Buffalo, you should be ok
  19. A recap for those that don't want to read all 18 previous pages. Kevi is mad because the game is on Peacock. Kevi owns a Bills Backers bar and has bought Peacock for the bar, but wants to watch at home. Kevi doesn't seem to know he can login from home and watch it there. Peacock is $5.99 (or $60/year) There is a student plan for $1.99, for those with a child in school Instacart offers it for free with a subscription If you can get channel 2 out of Buffalo, or CTV2 out of Canada, you can watch it there AmEx card holders can get $20 back on a year subscription ($60) SoCal Deek and teef offered to do play-by-play over the phone RebelBill is hosting a watch party in Mississippi
  20. It won't cost him anything it turns out. He owns a Bills Backers bar that has a Peacock subscription, but he refuses to watch the game.
