The Bills were going to do a lottery type draw for season ticket holders after the Conference Championship if they made it, so some fans would be able to get tickets at face value. Not sure where those tickets would be.

When I was looking before the Conference Championships, you could get direct from the NFL through On Location, the upper deck end zones for about $7,500. That did include extras like private party before the game and food/drink options. They do still show some ticket packages for $5,000 available. One of my grandfathers was Papa, but we had two cousins, that were not the oldest, that always called him Grand Pappy. Ask one of the cousins why one day, and it was because they called their own father Papa. So they did it to avoid confusion.

I was at a golf tournament one year and they had a Hole In One prize of a million dollars. Reading the fine print of how it would be paid out, you would end up getting about $12,500 a year after taxes for 30 years. The following year I was one of the coordinators for the tournament and was able to get two cars as Hole In One prizes (one each on different holes) for less than what was paid the previous year for the Million dollar prize.

I picked up my current laptop (Acer) at Costco about 7 years ago, for $500. Only two major issues with in, both in the last year. The built in Bluetooth just died one day, so off the Best Buy and I picked up a simple Bluetooth dongle for under $20. Other issues was the battery. I started noticing that battery life, which used to be 7-9 hours when new, was getting under 4 hours on a full charge. Then if I did not use it for a couple days, the battery would be just about dead. About $40 for a new battery, and I replaced it myself, now I'm back to getting over 7 hours of use before needing to plug it in. As long as MS does not shut me out if I don't upgrade, I'll keep it a few more years.

It would be a tough decision. I do have in-laws that are Eagles fans so I know they would take them. But for me to go, to a game the Bills are not playing in, and thinking of the money needed for flight, rental car, and hotel, I would decline also.
