I will consider it if the Bills make it. The thought of spending 7K minimum to watch them lose would be soul crushing though. I’m about 7 hours drive to New Orleans so at least I’d save on driving vs flights

It's a little over 20 hour drive for me, depending on traffic and weather.  But flying would be more expensive.

you can probably put this thread into the “what did you do to cause the bills to lose the Super Bowl?” Thread right now.

Trust me, I thought of that, and that's why I put "If" in the thread title.

Funny, I booked a hotel in downtown Buffalo 2 weeks ago (I live in Cali and want to watch this *potential* game among Bills fans)

I'm divided, go for what could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them live in a SB, or go to Buffalo for what could be a week-long party if they win.

The schedule Gods are apparently sick of screwing me over and have briefly smiled upon me.  Best of all worlds for a long-distance attendee.

Super weird that all 3 AFC games are played before any NFC game starts tho.

Maybe that means Divisional games will be on Saturday for AFC, Sunday for NFC.

Took a look back at recent playoff history since the NFL added the 7th seed.   7th seeds are 1-6 against 2nd seeds.     Not counting the Superbowl lower seeds are 16-32 against higher seeds in that same timeframe.

Years ago, when it was still 6 teams, I looked at the wildcard round, and the road team would win 3 out of the 4 games pretty much each year.  Did not dig down as deep as to which seeds to bet on.

Like I said, I debated whether to make this thread.

The reason the pats won was because I didnt watch the game. I didnt watch the game because my wife gave birth to our first son over the weekend. Like others have said though, I am glad the pats won and lost the 1st overall pick and that the Bills got some rest.

Please note, to avoid this in the future, you'll need to keep the baby making to July through November, to avoid any births from September to February.

  5. How did your actions yesterday cause the Bills to lose?  Something you ate?  Did you change your shirt at halftime?  Did you drink to much at a New Years Eve party and make a fool of yourself?  I’ll start…

I debated whether to make this thread, because I was sure it would not matter, the Bills were going to rest starters, and the Pats were going to try to lose.  But I think the blame can be placed on an anonymous fan I encountered earlier this week.  Going to lunch with a co-worker, as we were entering a restaurant, a guy held the door open for us.  Noticing he had a Bills hat on, instead of saying "Thank you" I said "Go Bills".  He laughed.  So, I'm blaming you, mister hold the door and don't know the universal Bills fan greeting.  It's your fault the Bills lost.

I am a bit surprised that the Chiefs didn't advance their departure time and get out of there earlier this morning, though.  Anyway, per multiple sources the plane has departed and is enroute to Denver.

It seems the plane coming to get them was late.  Maybe the pilot is a Broncos fan?

Ken has two ways to go with this...

    1) Laugh at it, and let it go.

    2) Get lawyers involved and get a cut of the profits, or shut it down.

And, the engineer thing for people who are interested in coding/info is that Kenny knows the programming language of an older format seldom learned/included in new stuff but all the more still popular. He is able to work on both the old systems and new systems and is said to be one of the few in the country who can do it

My first guess is COBOL, second would be FORTRAN.  I took both in College, but don't ask me anything about them. I do know COBOL programmers are in high demand.

Yet there are people here that think my karma/superstition thread after each game is stupid.

Yeah, I think it’s simply the weather and the fact it’s not a “big city” that out people off.

You’re not far from Toronto if you’re missing out on that life. Plus, the cold weather can add a beauty you miss in hotter climates.

Plus, Lake Erie is awesome for all kinds of activities.

    Squirrel Winters t-shirt remains undefeated.

For the third week in a row I went to a different supermarket before the game wearing a Bills hat and hoodie. I didn't have any direct interaction with a fan but an older cantankerous looking guy looked me up and down with a disdainful look. I assume he's a Jet fan and hope he enjoyed the game.

How many more supermarkets do you have in your area?

  11. How did your actions yesterday help the Bills to win?  Something you ate?  Did you change your shirt at halftime?  Did you wear any new Bills gear you got for the holidays?  I’ll start…

I was not able to see a single minute of the game. I was out of town, visiting relatives, and they could not get the game on TV, and I did not feel like chasing down some illegal streams to watch it.  You're welcome.
