  1. Yeah, right. About as serious as half the other posts about Jacks cold. I'm sure Jacks smart enough not to listen to health advice from a Bills message board. :w00t:

BTW, What do you think about John Kinta being traded to the Bills?

Wait, you mean I shouldn't pick up a bottle of Jim Bean on the way home?

  2. Today I woke up feeling a little run down. Thinking I was just sleepy, I went to work. Once I got there I started feeling a little tickle in my throat. As the day has gone on, I've been feeling worse and worse. Chills, run down, and the throat is still bad with a slight cough. I'm going to stop at Wegmans on the way home and load up on some drugs, what should I look for?

    Thanks.

  3. We have a guy here who does the same sh_it. The guy doesn't doa  lick of work, calls on everyone in my group to help him with stuff he's assigned to do, then somehow he's mentioned as being "hard at work" on numerous projects.

My solution? I quit helping him. Let him fail on his own. besides I have my own work to do.

If I was you, I'd feed him some off-the wall bull-stevestojan and see hif he uses it.

Mis-information is the route I always try first also.

  4. Myself, I fancy the stalkers slow right down to follow you as you walk to your car, and once they realize you have walked a little too far for their liking and you have not reached your car yet, they drive away fast, in a tizzy.

I had that happen to me at the Casino last week. The couple in the car were sitting by the door, so whenever someone came out they would follow them till they reached that point where it wasn't worth it.

  5. People I hate in the parking lot (I saw a lot of these people while I was going to law school at UB):

Anyone who follows you down the row waiting for you to get in your car and leave so they can grab your spot.  I take care of that guy right away.  I walk down a row that's two or three rows over from my car, take out my keys and slow down as if I'm going to unlock the car in front of me, and then cut through to my car two rows over.  Of course I make sure to get in my car and get out of there before the guy can find me.  :)

One day after Thanksgiving I went to the Mall for the early bird specials. Once I got the two things I was after I was going to leave, but saw how bad traffic was, decided to keep shopping. So I started going to a store, get what I wanted, then take it to the truck. Sure enough everytime I came outside, someone would follow me (my spot was about 15 from a door), watch me put my packages in, then I would turn and head back into the mall. Ahhh... good times.

  6. I just grab a spot wherever I see many are available. I'm not picky.

As for multi spot parkers, I'll either park in the spot next to them so everyone can see they are hogging multi spots, or park at the same angle right next to them.

Handicap spots, one store I worked at the manager would leave notes on the cars if there was no plate or tag that "Handicap parking is for the phyiscally handicapped, not mentally handicapped."

One Christmas two of my brothers and I went to the mall. We were in underground parking looking for a spot, and couldn't find one. We finally found a little Ford Escort in a far corner taking up two spots. My brother that was driving was going to leave, but I said to wait, that I think we can move it. So my other brother and I each get on a wheel well and at the same time would lift and push the car sideways to one spot. If we were meaner, we could have kept pushing and put the car between two of the support columns.

  7. Opening day is usually the week after Labor day. Why not come and enjoy the TBD Tailgate Party? Watch here and  the Tailgate East site for all the particulars.

Except we don't know if the Bills are home or away on the NFL opening weekend. We've been home these past 5 years, I would not be surprised if the Bills got an away game opening weekend.

  8. The lowest seed plays highest seed. So.....

If Jets and Indy win, Jets go to Steelers, Indy goes to Pats

If Jets and Denver win, Jets go to Pats, and Denver goes to Steelers

If Chargers and Denver win, Chargers go to NE, Denver to Pitt

If Chargers and Indy win, Chargers go to Pitt, Indy to NE

If Rams and Vikings win, Rams go to Falcons, Vikings to Eagles

If Rams and Packers win, Rams go to Eagles, Packers to Falcons

If Seahawks and Vikings win, Seahawks go to Falcons, Vikings to Eagles

If Seahawks and Packers win, Seahwaks go to Eagles, Packers to Falcons

That should be every combination. Someone check it for me.

  9. We're all familar with certain plays or series during the playoffs throughout the years, that you only need to mention the name, and everyone knows what you're talking about. For example, Imaculate Reception, The Drive, The Catch, The Comeback, Wide Right, Music City Miracle, Yard Short. So....

Describe a play or series you would like to see and give it a name that everyone should remember.

  10. In today's sports section, there is a quick blurb that the Bills signed a TE. It is so short, they don't include it on the newspaper webpage. Here it is entirely:

Former Syracuse University tight end Joe Donnelly of Rochester said Tuesday that he has signed a free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills. Donnelly signed with the Atlanta Falcons following his senior year at SU in 2003. He was cut during training camp by the Falcons.
