    Sat at the bar for a bit, but didn't recognize anyone.  Danny's staff moved Nascar to the big screen, and I was told that there was no TV in the TBD room, so my dad and I opted to come back to the hotel for the OSU game.

    Danny's had the OSU game on the smaller TV's, just not the big screen. What time did you leave? People started showing up around 6:30

    FYI, I've been on this board for 4 years, but rarely post because I'm not in any of the "cliques" and rarely receive much response, similar to this post.  Sorry if it was a stupid question, but my brother in Rochester said he had heard that the game wasn't going to be on TV because it hadn't sold out.  Back to lurking.

    If you want to save gas money, post here with some info and hook up with other people heading to the games. Some suggestions.....

     

    Location you are at

    Do you need or can provide a ride

    What do you want, gas money? tolls? parking money?

    Can you pick up people on the way? (for ex, I'm in Syracuse, would I pick up people in Rochester?)

    What's your normal routine? (for ex, I leave Syracuse about 7-7:30am, get to the stadium, Lot 1 Pole 5, game, then hang out for about an hour after the game before leaving)

     

    Please provide a way for people to contact you, either via PM, email address, or phone number.

    Funny story:

     

    My wife and I flew into Buffalo last month to see the Bills/Packers game.  We were in the Minneapolis airport, about to walk through the metal detector, when the woman said, "We recommend that you take your shoes off."  My wife said, "Only recommend?  Good," and walked through anyway.  The woman looked incredulous - we must've been the first people to pick up on the word "recommend." <_<

    My GF was flying out of Syracuse, and said if you're wearing sneakers, they don't make you take them off. So while we waited till she needed to go through, I watched the people in line for the metal detector. sure enough, if someone had sneakers on, they didn't say anything. But if you had shoes or anything else, they were made to take them off.
