Been a serious Bills fan since the late 70's . . . I'm not optimistic about this upcoming season, cuz I think DJ will schitt the bed (5-11 at best). After that, things could get a lot better. We have several good, young players at key positions. If we had better coaching and game day management, the current team could easily be a playoff caliber squad . . .

But it is not your opinion that matters. It is the opinion of the braintrust at OBD that TE is the QB of the future. Let's focus on things that will realistically get done . . .

I think that outside of the Seahawks game, the Bills looked totally unprepared for anything that their opponent's did offensively or defensively. As much as I am on the fence for consistency, this lack of preparation and the bad game day decisions over-ride any positives on Dick. He needs to go 'cuz he can't compete in his own division.

Wasn't the Mangenius a Defense guy? It would be better than nothing to get a top Offensive mind in here. (Although I have visions of Gilbride and Mularky) . . .

I agree Steely (wow, mark the calendar), but in this case I thinks that both definitions fit with Manning. You could make a convincing argument for Manning over Peterson, Harrison, just about anyone really . . .

This is a very well written and poignant post on the topic. Too bad some folks here will want to run Peters out of town a la Ruben Brown. You don't trade a concensus top LT in the prime of his career. You pay him what he's worth.

Well said. I'm done with Dick as the coach. He's lost me . . .The first qtr of the broncos game was a perfect example of his coaching ability. the Bills sucked in every phase of the game for most of the first half. In the first qtr, it looked like they were trying to move the ball with quick passes, which Carolina pulled off successfully last week . . . Denver has one of the worst rush defenses in the league. Now, you're the head coach. What's your game plan? Run at one of the worst rush defenses in the league? With the biggest O-Line in the league? No . . . Let's try to emulate that Panther's attack with our QB who's coming off a 2 week layoff, and our depleted receiver corps . . .brilliant coaching there fellas. . . . Granted, they came back in the 2nd half, but that, IMHO, was mostly Trent getting into a groove . . . The bills consistently look unprepared and outcoached . . . what more needs to be said. Just my $.02

I've given up on Gr. Don't listen at all, except for Sabres games. Can't stand anyone that they have in the lineup. That said, I like Brad's show on WECK . . . Otherwise, I just don't listen to sports talk. Vote with your feet. If you can't stand it, don't tune in. If everyone feels the way you do, GR will change, If not, you've successsfully lowered your blood pressure. It's a win-win . . .
